Ok the reason that the random battles are so unballanced is because there are not manny people playing ED to support a diverce pvp expirience. If the random player search was so limited as to alwase find some one who is on the same level as you, finding a battle will take forever to find. Or else you will fight the same people over and over again.

There is a day lvl 35 tech mage with dage gun no 1 in 2v2lb with 85% win rate. I think he use str build.

well in 2v2 has been unbalanced since idk Alpha/when it was created. well i would say fighting 2 lvl 35 full var which are fully enhed is quite challenging without luck there is no change of a non var with full/almost full enh to beat them if they get a lvl 30 partner without any enh at all. well the devs should make the pairing in 2v2 based on enh imho. in order to solve the 2v2 problem right now the devs MUST increase the non varium population at mid/high lvls(lvl 25-lvl 35). most non var quit/get stuck at lvl 28-30+ as it is very very hard to lvl up at this range without wars/npcs. if the devs increase the non var population at high lvls we would not get these lvl 35+lvl 35 vs lvl 35+lvl 30 so often. the devs also need to attract players to play 2v2 rather than 1v1 as most players play 1v1 because well 2v2 is hmm lets just say hell when u get no partner or a partner with a very weird build. 2v2 is a very scary place for a new player imho.

2 vs 2 is already limited in high level opponents adding many requirements will just making pairing very long.

No, sorry. What I mean is that each team must have one or more players with two pieces of Varium gear equipped or in inventory.

@ Bunsichi,

This will make it take ~15 seconds longer. Are you willing to wait for a fair fight?

@ CamoMerc,

I considered a stat requirement, and other more stringent (strict) modifications, but it would take to long to get a battle. Good idea, however.

Why do you think 2 vs 2 are dominated by the lower levels while 1 vs 1 is by the highers? Because they can get their fights faster in two vs two since most of the higher levels are doing jug fights or one vs one. While I don't promote the way it is now, I barely two vs two now because of the wait. Your idea will make it even longer to get fights and as much as I don't like the idea of an unfair fight, they made it like this for quicker fights. Remember 2 vs 2 require 4 people within level range while 1 vs 1 only require 2.

The main problem is with players that quit. No way you should get a loss if partner quits at start of battle, cause you get stuck in a very hard juggernaut mode.

I don't have problems with partners that have weak gear, but with partners that have good gear and don't know how to use it. The only thing I would do about this, is make a 2vs2 battle guide, or strategy guide( in-game) and make even gear guide

My new build is good, but DConnects make the % very varying.

Honestly, i think it's good to have teamwork in EPICDUEL.

IKR while a disconnect is annoying I can understand that this is no fault of the player since these things do happen, but when they quit on you that is just wrong. However, not everyone can afford good gear while being non varium. I remember when I first started I didn't get my first decent armor until I was level 28. While they did lower the prices of these armors since then it is still trying to get a decent up to date armor for battle for non variums, and all the cap level non varium armor is either rare, limited rare, or seasonal rare. They need to make some new permanent cap level armors for Non variums.

What do you call a "noob partner"?

Also, how do you think 2v2 affects 2v1, and vice versa?

noob partner = Player who go in 2vs2 without see instructions how to play game, doing stupid moves during the battle, No weapons, no helping his partner in needs.

NPCS may do noob moves some times but still better than to have no partner in the fight. I explained but they deleted my post....

oh a mechachilld partner is way better than these weird build people.click link to see what i mean. yes they have nothing but basic wep and apparently my partner had max mass and the other bh(the bh in black) well had a decent build but just no weps. btw this pic was taken early/mid gamma ok i know it is is a very old ss but yeah just see the char pages of these people they are either almost the same of worse. well imho a tutorial for 2v2 would certainly solve the problem of well mechachilld like partners. just do not know when tutorials are gonna be made for this game but tutorial is the first step to make 2v2 a better place.

If I remember correctly didn't the staff say that sometimes we would get mechachild partners ever since the infernal war? Cause if I am correct I have yet to see one as anyone's partner.

It was mentioned in the design notes sometime ago when the infernal war started. I remember reading it say that some of the mechachilds got out of the refinery and would show up in the surface world to either be your partners or enemies outside of the war.

IMO 2v2 team making system should consistent of both side players getting about same skilled players, by this I mean about same W/L percentage in 2v2 and also level range would be smaller.

hmm well have not gotten any mechachilld partners in normal 2v2. well i think they scraped the plan as it was too hard to code or something.but i would be nice to vs mechachillds in 2v2. i would make 2v2 q time faster too. 2v2 npcs might help but some people hate npcs so making 2v2 npc might not be so gr8.

nice idea but problem with this system is it would make the q time for 2v2 long and people can abuse this system.will show ya how ya can abuse this system.the devs cannot make it that u always battle with people with identical W/L % as well it is kinda impossible/hard to have 3 other people with say 67.8% .so they would make ranges like this:

<50%
50-60%
61-70%
71-80%
81-90%
>90%

ok basically lets just say i have 66.6% W/L for 2v2 i would be able to battle people with at max of 70% W/L ratio and a min of 61%. lets say i have 40% i would battle people with 49% at max. ok now time to tell ya how ya can abuse this system and get uber fast wins until ya % increases. ok most noobs people who well do not have a clue about 2v2 would sit around 40-50+ % W/L basically all a person have to do is lower his/her % to around 40 to 50% trash the noobs. once % increase,rinse and repeat.

also another problem with this system is most varium would vs other variums as most of them would sit at around 70-80% this would be unfair for the variums as they would basically be forced to buy more varium or be destroyed. it is rare to see a non var with 70-80% W/L ratio at high lvls if a non var manages to get 70-80% with the W/L % system u suggested this non varium would most likely quit or buy varium(u cant beat em join em).
