This idea is an answer to help the people whose characters have been wrecked either through hacking or reckless spending during the lower levels, and thus, have no way of recovering.

The main goal is, to upgrade the starter weapons every few levels so that they might be used in times of need.

The weapons should be passable, but not so good that it would be used in place of a normal weapon of that level.

I suggest that the weapon be distributed every 10 levels.

These primary weapons are distributed freely, are unlimited, have no sellback, and do not possess enhancement slots.

Upgrade 1: LV20

Weapon Stats +20 Damage, 3-3-3-3

Upgrade 2: LV30

Weapon Stats: +25 Damage, 4-4-4-4

One of the main things that must be taken into consideration is that these weapons must not be better than most gear of it's level, lest players ignore all options to use this one.

EDIT 1: Added Weapon Damage, removed LV10 option as it isn't really needed

No way! When you buy any weapon (Unless you buy a 31-35 weapon) It has to someday get outdated!
You can't just save money by having the same weapon from level 10 all the way to 30 gaining new skill points...
This would make it easier for the lower levels to save up for level 35 weapons/armors!
Lets just say you had a level 10 weapon with:
+1 Strength
+2 Dexterity
+1 Technology
+3 Support

By level 30 it would be:
+4 Strength
+5 Dexterity
+4 Technology
+6 Support

For most non var players, that is usually the most stats you will get... (Season Rares and Rare weapons are exceptional!)
So overall, this would make the lower level weapons... A bit OP, you would be seeing higher levels buying lower level weapons, knowing that they will be just as strong as higher weapons which
cost double, nearly triple the price!

*The stat modifiers in my example are made-up*

Not supported. This would vastly OP the lower level weapons, and if weapons were like this no one would buy new one which would seriously cut into varium sells with promos.

So, uh... I don't mean the weapon keeps levelling up. I must have mis-typed something.

They were supposed to be viable, but must not be better than most gear of it's level, as I've bolded at the end.

My stats may be a bit wonky, I don't often check lower levelled weapons.

Wait, I just thought of this:
The base damage of that weapon would stay the same! So it would have high stats but low damage?
Even with that big flaw, I still cannot support this idea...

The problem with that is, if a player can't return to the game, it's usually due to the weapon's damage...

Can you imagine fighting with a sword/club/wristblades/staff with +15 damage at level 34?

Although, there are some builds, who don't use their primary weapon at all! They use it merely for the stats!
They just use: Auxiliaries, Sidearms, Bots or even skills in their skill tree that don't require any primary weapons to be used.
Trust me... I've seen a stack of players using high stat weapons just for the stat modifiers!

Supported, are weapons with decent stats, we could also add guns are not good weapos, just decent for try to recovery their accounts

It is a good idea, but I do not support, as starter weapons would become too OPed.
Starter weapons are there so you can have something to dig yourself out of the hole with at later levels, besides their primary purpose. Those who quit because they are stuck with the starter do not have resilience- they cannot bounce back from a major devastation. They need to work themselves out of it. It may not be fun, but you get the job done.

not supported, this would destroy the purpose of buying new weapons and working hard for items, this would just make saving credits easier and we will see everyone use the same plain weapons from lvl 1 - lvl 35. definately not supported.

So you aren't supporting the system that Upgrated a wep from lets say lvl 30 to 35, so the lvl 30 wep will have the stats of a 35 wep?
Cuz titan already said that on omega we are getting this ^
But drinde suggestion is a whole diferent thing that dont have anything to do with this ^^ I guess.

Supported. Although i think the player should simply get a request button. then the AE team can look into ur acc to see if its reasonable to give the weps to you :/

@rayman the system thats gonna be released in omega is much more different and fairer than this, you need to spent varium/credits to upgrade the weapons, but with this you dont spend anything to get a weapon that can level up with you. so not supporting this for the third time.

Trizz: This suggestion isn't bad, its just a way to get a wep to fight and win credits when you don't have a wep to use, you just simply upgrate it to get more DMG and bit more stats But without enhancements slots. Its just a wep to be used if your wep is low lvl to make it better and have a chance to win credits on battles and buy better weps that will help u in the future.

it will stilll benefit everyone greatly from lvl 1 to lvl 28, because only rare amounts of players enhance their item in that level range, so this would make earning credits easier and not putting much effort in picking other good weapons.

i have seen some people with the basic club that have weak stats simply beacuse the stats are too low if they arent upgraded too high i would support

wow! @Trizzcentrino, please stop, seriously. is there a reason why your posting without reading? where did he say that the weapon will continue to lvl up with you? it Is a one time thing every 10 lvls or so! why will a 25 use a lvl 20 weapon? how many lvl 30 weapons do you see with a damage stat of 25 and he specifically said "these weapons must not be better than most gear of it's level," why would a lvl 35 use a weapon that gives 16 stats and no enhancement and + 25 damage? dude read before you post some thing, and think twice, don't just post the first thing that comes to your mind, it is really annoying.

@above it levels up every ten levels would take you to lvl 30 and it equals to a non varium weapon if it is gonna have low stats but i dont see how thats gonna stop people from using it, they would just keep using it till lvl 25-30 and have enough credits to get weapons that are above their reach. if this system was not implemented only those that use strategy and skills in battle and knows how to conserve their credits will get the good weapon, Mjolnir is a low level weapon and thats not stopping people from using it in lvl 30, it is still very popular among the players.

do you know what the funny thing is? yes, and you assume that everyone is going to convert to using that weapon instead of the other better weapons that's available, yeah, because that's the weapon people think, if every one think like that ED would be out of business right now, players will buy the better weapons, not use a weapon that in many ways a mere starter kit.

unless you are varium starting from level 10, most non variums will use it instead of buying new weapons
