 My problem: I have received 6 sg, but I believe I should have received 12. What do I need to do?

I had a confirmed email address before the first time I logged into Oversoul. I read the first Q&A post, and have changed my confirmed email, cleared my cache, checked my version of flash, and still have received only the 6. I checked the bugs forum and saw that others have had this problem back in late october. Since there is nothing more recent, I assume it's been fixed on your end. So what am I forgetting?

Reply:
Computer restart didn't work. I'm working on verifying the email but i'm not getting the email; post on hold until I can get it verified.

Update:
I have changed my email associated with Battleon master account, I have it verified, then I restarted my computer and cleared my cache. Still have 6 gems. The game is still in Beta right, which fills the conditions? I started playing very recently. Oh, and I'm on Windows XP using firefox, if that matters?

 @bunny I assumed you confirmed the new email when you switched right? If not, do so. Also, you may have to relog in OS if you recently tried this while still in-game.

Is Rev rare from the explore button at the lost passage? 30 hours of farming so far put into nothing but lvling up my blackwing not even an encounter of Rev egg or Rev evo.

@kreem:Well Rev (veteran)evo is what you encounter at that place, and he might still be there, yet not of your luck... so do you have the 30SG for the shop one, if not try your luck next year

Thanks Bumfoolinguy but I would like an answer that can give me some assurance that it isn't rare from the explore button and this version of the egg and veteran will be rare and will have different versions next Rev's irthday

I can't buy SGs all the time especially since I need to buy some ACs and other stuff and since it is winter I won't be getting much if any money.

@redsky there will be new versions of Rev for both the egg and evolved but not sure what kinds of differences there will be. if you have an egg now you can pay 10 SGs to evolve in the next year but next December you can evolve it to a veteran which is the keyblade on for free

Rev is going perma rare.
If you don't have the SGs (they removed the encounter friday or yesterday, I believe), you can't get him anymore. And I have reason to believe that Veteran Rev is on par with Void Reaper and maybe even the Black Dragon.

PvP and PvE is almost the same, except that PvE the AI tends to use cards whenever they can, so they're quite a bit easier to kill.
In PvP, people tend to attack, recharge, attack, recharge in that manner.

Simplest and most efficient pattern:
Charge to 19, then all-out.

Apologies for the extremely late answer, however here's what Nulgath said in regards to the other 6 Soul gems.

So basically, the other 6 soul gems were for early beta testers, I think. I believe you said you registered recently, so that would explain why you aren't able to obtain another 6 soul gems. Sorry~ Have a wonderful day!

- How many gold do I get per battle?

- Is "Refresh Farm" effective?

Current very rare characters are Alpha Frostzard, Poison Drake, Krugar and Cosoma

Gold has no fixed value, so it's very random, normally 1-70 maybe

I personally don't know how to Refresh Farm.

Like a 0.1-1% chance of possession maybe.

I think all of the rare appearing characters just depend on your luck, some people seem to be able to find characters easily and quickly as opposed to others. It would be hard to make a list of very rare appearing characters, I guess the only one that I know of is Revontheus, since tons of people had trouble with him. Maybe Drake, Krugar, Cosoma and Alpha Frost Zard (Though he appears to be a little more common than the others mentioned before) can also fall under "very rare". Augustiner was also very rare once upon a time, now it's not since he spawns at more locations than the dreaded lake.

Here's what the official wiki says regarding to gold.

Refresh farming is basically a situational kind of thing. If someone is willing to sacrifice exp/gold in order to have a higher chance to find a character, then it's effective. Another thing to determine how "effective" it is, is how close the location is to your spawn. If the location of the character is very far from spawn, it may be better just to fight out the battle, even though it takes longer, refresh farming isn't as effective when the location is too far from your spawn since it takes a few seconds more to get there. So basically, it's as effective as it is for what you need, if you really want a character, refresh farming gives you more chances to encounter said monster.

Very Hard possession chance, usually means that you should use a soul gem. xD Or a very low possession rate I suppose, but most things have a low rate as it seems.

1) there are a few, but past events make me believe they'll be common within the month.
2) 1 to (10*(OpponentLvl)-1) ~ Less if you lose
3) you have a higher chance of meeting the char you want in the same time span as when you wouldn't refresh farm, but you don't get any exp or gold.
4) no official numbers have been given out, but definitely more then 0.1-1% my guess is somewhere between 2.5 and 10%; closer to the 10.

Hah, the official wiki is wrong again! good thing i made that formula for the unofficial one... they forgot to look at PvP. ofcourse, this formula is correct in PvE, as your opponents level = your own level, but it's very far from true in PvP, where your opponents lvl isn't related to yours.

It's basically refreshing the page when you don't find the character(s) that you were seeking. It's like fleeing from a battle in most games, you miss out on the rewards, but this gives you more time to find what you're looking for.

Simple:

You goto the area the monster is, click "explore", if you don't encounter the monster, click on the circling arrow thing left to the house thing, an repeat the process till you encounter the monster!

Any suggestions on what order I should level up the rest of my elemental apprentices? I just got shadow dance earlier today. I only have to get Earth Wizard, Frost Void, Berserker, and katana zon. I have more than enough to get all of them, but need to know how easy the rest are to train in order from easiest to hardest. I'd imagine earth and sword would be tied for first, water coming in second, and ice coming in last.

 According to the Frost Void page on the Wiki, it says that "Ice Wall" allows you to remove one card to increase
your defense by 15. How come my "Ice Wall" is a simple 10 defense raise for 7 ice charges? Is it wrong? :I

It got changed to 10 Defense for 6 energy, and the Wiki lists that for other Ice pages.
