Chapter 1
I was born into this world as a male mage. I trained and become a good at magic. Then i started training other classes, and in short time, I mastered them too.
I did many things. I helped people, Gathered friends, Gold, I defeated monsters, chaos lords and did quests. I earned my right to the title Hero.
But that all changed one day. I was exploring Citade, when I got lost in the caves. I wandered around for a while, when i came to a room with a portal.
I was curious of nature, and planned to step into it. So I did.
The first thing i saw was some purple little monsters with big orange eyes, and razor sharp claws and teeth, called Dark Makais'.
They were In the corner of the room there was a big, cloacked figure. Before I got a chance to open my mouth, the two Makais' run towards me, making a "Hisssssssss" sound, with
theyr teeth and claws ready to attack me.
I blocked the attack from the first one, and sent him to the ground but got hit in the shoulder by the second one. It made a deep cut in my arm, but i managed to slash it's head off.
The first one had gotten on his legs and jumped in my face. I cut the underworld scum in two pieces. I had blood all over my armor, and my shoulder hurt badly. I approached the cloacked entity. With a voice sounding like power and despair, and a tone with showed no pity for nothing he said;
"Why do you come here, mortal? Do you seek easy treasure? Perhaps you feel entitled to great rewards? Hah! Be warned -this place has no rhyme or reason! Everything you think should be will never be. Is that hard to comprehend? Leave here! This place will eat you alive child....or drive you mad."
After that he silenced. I was a little bit stunned, but also curious about this dark place. I went into one of the caves.
Chapter 2
I wandered around in the caves for days. I had slaughtered countless Makai's and were badly hurt. I stumbled around the caves. The words of the cloacked figure kept repeating itself in my head "This place will eat you alive child....Or drive you mad." I started to think he had a point.
I had lost track of time many days ago. Or was it weeks? I was half dead, the wounds from the fights, the starving and dehydration had almost killed me, and I was on the edge of dying. I was about to pass out when i stumbled into a room.
I was shocked. It was a huge room, with a gigantic monster standing there, with a thousand green eyes staring at me from the shadow. I felt his massive power in the whole room.
If he striked me, I would be another one of the skeletons I had seen around here.
I approached, and he spoke, with a voice like the underworld itself;
"Welcome minion… err.. hero. The prices? Oh boohoo! Leave if you think they're unreasonable!
I've watched you from the beginning. You've had it easy, hero. Everything has been handed to you. Haha! Do you even know what a challenge is? Earning my wares will cost you…
and it'll cost you a lot. Keep whining and I'll decorate this room with your entrails."
And here was the words that changed my life for ever; "Hmmm...You're strong hero...You survived here for weeks, and you managed to find me. Say me. Would you like to join
my forces and become more powerful than ever?
I am Nulgath! The Abyss General!! If you are willing to join me, kneel before me now!
If not, leave here in a moment, and never return!!
Many diffrent thoughts ran trough my head. Did I really want to be a hero? Fight evil? Or did i want to fight the good and become the evil?
I decided.
And kneeled.
