imo through the facts I identified (so don't troll me >:) I think this omega release would not affect varium but only make it more attractive, by removing the power advantage varium has into variety options that appeal to players battle styles (in other words, there are many varium features that will sell, they could even add varium only effects to weapons) and plus the weapons and items you get from buying packages is a nice feature. This game was mean to be strategic, not pay to win, it became that way and the staff noticed it and became aware that progression was very difficult since the accessibility to currencies were difficult for everyone. So they made a way for varium players to use varium more often, it was good but there was still an ideological theory of pay to win which still unattracts people to play this game (especially a free to play game). If the staffi included more content and varium features (lets say non-varium players get this weapon while the varium players get these weapons with effects) that will not distrupt the strategic part of the game (in other words, the fun for everyone, including non-varium players) this game will certainly acheive what the staff hoped for in the beginning, a pure battle strategy game and I believe that they will, will they mess up? there is a chance but there is also a chance they can achieve their goals :), what they did wrong is that they made this game pay to win and I'm hoping they can fix that unfortunately* I am afraid that weapons will only feature it's aethetic looks :( hopefully the staff makes each weapon unique with their idea of balance
