It not their fault, they worked really hard but couldn't get it done in time, we just have to be patient.

On another note, I will buy the 2 for 1 offer for sure :D.

Please, go ahead and make Omega the best update yet. We don't want anymore Gamma or Delta. I, for one, want a flawless update and I think it's totally worth the wait.


I need moar explanation on Golden Yeti. Titan seems too worked up to explain it :o

That tournament should be available for everyone. But okay if thats how they wanna roll it, its their game. ;)

 What it is is ultimate disappointment not only in the players, but in the staff as well. They've tried hard, but failed to meet the deadline. In my opinion though, there has to be a point where game developers stay away from exceedingly high optimism.

I believe that this is a good idea for ED. Although I'm not sure how their bosses think (think Artix, Cysero, etc.), I'm sure it's a great approach in terms of business. Several game companies this year have had to re-evaluate their position and delay their games to refine/polish them.

So one hand, though this does have huge short term losses, the long run should yield greater results.

Good luck to Titan, NightWraith, Charfade, and Rabblefroth. I look forward to Omega, and whatever else ED has in store for us.

 Yes cool preston, and you find them where? Volunteers or full-time ones? Who will pay for it? Do they have experience with ED's engine? If not, then who pays for the training which will also not allow them to work? Exactly. <_< Easier said than done..

As for the Golden Yeti thingy, will the top 100 players with most wins who have preordered this get the yeti? Or will it be 100 who win it totally randomly? I read something about a leaderboard in the DNs but I do not see any in-game.

Here's where I sit...


I like the idea of 2 for 1 (even though I still wont get it.) HOWEVER..

It is true that you can now expect the team to never really make the deadlines, as they always set the expectations WAY too high. It would be much better though, if they could either start off by telling us it may take 2 months to do, so then even if it is faster, it seems like it came early. LOWER those expectations. I would rather be told that it would be 2 months of no releases then have this:

We'll release next week!
Sorry, it'll be another week!
Found more bugs! It'll be another week!
Oh, it broke :c one more week!
Well we need a month. thanks!
(the day of the supposed release, every time) If a pushback is going to be announced AT LEAST tell us 2 days before. Telling us ON THAT DAY is just mean. Seriously. I have been here since the day I became a founder. Please, just be honest with release times. Lower those expectations please :)

You think it's simple.. No. First you find people and it depends if they are volunteers or actual workers. Both need contract and one works for free so that's one thing. You gotta train them which takes months and give them money for the software so they can use it as well. Then let them get used to the new system which takes time. If they are getting paid, that's another story which can also be an issue if budget for ED is limited. (you can't "borrow" from other games, that's not how business works)

I really don't know why most people thought Devs would release Omega today. I'm not pessimist, but I have learned that Developers pressure themselves way to much, and that they should give themselves more time to work on the updates, I know that the wait is worth it so if most people know that, why make deadlines that are to short? Devs should take some time to relax and then come back to work on the update.
