On-topic ~ do I feel bad when I lose to a f2p? no the only feeling of dread, or anger, or any other negative feeling is when it's a typical copy pasted build for the latest
OP flavor. If a f2p beats me in a fight fair and square that's good for them and they deserve the win. and i don't know where your getting that win rate most f2p I see in fights do pretty good for themselves aside from the few that don't have gear/ any real skill. Yes I have spent money on this game I have bought every promo since the delta weapons ( except for azreals due to being gone for school ) and my reasoning for doing so would be.. I wanted the gear, and I like to support companies that make quality gaming experiences. Could I have spent that money
on a new 360/ ps3/ pc game? yes I could have but since no good games were coming out I decided what the heck and purchased varium.

Off-Topic ~ head shots are extremely easy to get you literally point and click fire ( even easier on pc games ) heck I hadn't played a cod since mw2 except a few odd moments on BO at a friends house. My other friend brings BO2 over and I do better than him in k/d ratio. those games require zero skill to play because there made for casual gamers and kids ages 5-15. sorry to say but play a real game if you think you have skill. and I would never pay 150$ for a fps game that I would get bored of in a week... who in there right mind would pay that price? ( oh right CoDrones )

Go play your shooter then? 99% of the gap is being closed, and here you are rambling on about how taking NPC's away is going to make you lose more. Well of course you are going to lose more, they're actually going to be real people now! Believe it or not, we Varium players are going to be losing a whole lot more than you (compared to how much we lose now). If you knew what "skill" or "strategy" was, you would man up and hit the 1v1 button when this release roles around, instead of hiding behind the fact that someone might have 1 more stat than you, and ability you don't have. I mean seriously, its kind of funny to see how much you value titles like "battlefield", when they are filled to the brim with bots that auto-scope you at spawn. Does that take skill? How about camping? "Yes, I can sit here and shoot everyone that walks by!" <--- Skill???? Your argument isn't making any sense, and I'm starting to get aggravated. Ok, time to go take my meds.

 hitting a moving target is skill. You can camp but still it takes skill to hit a running or running + jumping + dunkin target. Sure we will be left no choice so yea we all gonna man or woman up and hit that 1on1 button :) ima be sure to give you enough love to make you love your pills more thats a promise :) peace

Took my meds, and you know what? You are absolutely right. Just get rid of Varium or keep everything the way it is, otherwise it can never be fair. 1 Stat is 1 stat that a non-var will never have. Its inequality at its finest. It all makes sense now. Running, ducking, and jumping to avoid a shot thats coming from an unseen sniper spot is skill, but that 1 extra point of support that makes your reflex 43 instead of 42, that is an injustice that will forever stain EpicDuel.

I'm glad we are finally on the same page. Man those meds help, and thanks for the kind wishes, the love is appreciated. Peace.

 of all the players who post on this forum, i must say your posts are the best to read. I recon if others get the sarcasm but i love it :) ima smiling perhaps laughing as i post this. We do know there will be a "gap" as long as its a fun gap its all love :) happy holidays prophet.

firstly, the specials on promo, limited rare, rare and ultra rare items will not be available in-game, i know you want the full feature of the game to be free from payment but this is realife, its not a fantasy world, the devs have their own family to feed, servers and software licencing to pay for(trust me they are very expensive) so this is not like the games you can find here: www.miniclip.com . what is a promo weapon? promo weapons are the weapons you get for paying $50 and sustaining the life of they game, we used to get so much advantage with promo weapons since you get: more base stats, 10 enhancement slots and its unique special, as others have said, you should feel happy about this update, we are losing the base stat advantage and enhancement advantage of our varium/promo items because the devs want this game not too money orientated, they still need a steady source of income, if i was a non varium player like you, i would be so happy and not find anything negative to say about on the omega phase, many of us varium players are already agreeing to the sacrifice of our advantage for fair game-play and more fun features, and the non vars should accept it too rather than asking for more.

@trans i still buy nova gem for mechquest to get all the exclusive mechas, to be honest, there is still a huge power/feature gap between non starcaptain/non nova gem users to star captain/nova gem users, the mecha and weapons are more powerful and some of the features are only exclusive to them. thats how they still get the income, if everything was fair in MQ, it would be closed down by now.

my tone may sound harsh but i don't mean it in a harsh way, just in a informative and collective way of other's opinion then making it my own.

Varium becomes currency "membership". You are not a "member" without varium, so you do not benefit from 100% of all content. Maybe 50% if it works to be as exclusive as AQ.
