Try getting trolled by the Ice Nomads who previously(long ago) were almost as impossible to find as Revontheus.

I believe their male counterparts are probably the male zubats. In the northern reaches that is.

I used my lower level characters to make the searching go by faster. Particuarly Poison drake, can almost kill everything in 1 turn at lower levels.
