Not really. I do notice you (and others) sometimes have 3 or 4 edits within a few minutes. Now, it's human to see a mistake right after you click submit, hey, I have it sometimes as well, but it's a good habit to press preview first, and check if everything is alright. This is (again) to save bandwidth, and to not clog up the recent changes page, which I personally find pretty annoying. (some people make a page, paste a template in it, press submit, and then edit it >.>) Also, notice that for minor updates, there's a 'minor update' box you can tick off. Minor updates for me include things like correcting a small mistake, adding a dialogue, moving the cards sequence, ... Non-minor updates would be things like making a new page, redirecting a page, adding characters to the character list, adding locations to a character, adding a card to a character,...
