getting rif of the swear words in the game because when i try talking to me mates on ED somehow i write an "inappropriate" word in the sentence and i dont know why thats stuff happens i recon the only work thatshould be inappropriate should be the F word it is really annying when im typing and somehow i swear by just writing a long as sentence

I agree, when i type a long sentence they find some words inappropriate like:
-Yeah
-Hit
-Varium
-Wins

But they should block more then only the F word, because there are more then only that one which i find annoying.

There is a known bug associated with the chat filtering.


I however think it should be made to give the player the option if he/she wants filtered shat or not and is so simply place the ***** symbols over the offensive word.

 right now i cant say "hit" so when i am trying to say hit him its blocked. With remorse idea its gonna look like *** him. Lol. Your partner gonna say ima *** him alright. Lol ima loving it.

 Its the words between 2 different words that annoy me.

Removed examples, although this is a discussion regarding the filter that does not mean you can start avoiding it here aswell. ~Tanky

Yea, the word Spaghetti really rustles my jimmies, so to speak. We could definitely use an updated "swear check" databank implemented.

for some reason i couldnt say "alot of" in a long sentence i was writing that was..annoying... it works if you say a few words at a time though. really odd

If I may suggest that words are checked while emphasizing on SPACES. If 2 words that can be paired together to spell a profanity, check if both words are profanity and if not do not alert/censor the player!!!

Also check if both words ARE words, s h- (you know the rest) are all not words so concatenate them and determine if the concatenation IS a profanity.
