This is exactly why I don't want the fiend. Got tons of shadow char's already + alot of fiends already (and we get more in the future) + blackshock/Holy Pig/Zeuster's entries were much better becuz none were Shadow chars...

What people forget is that this contest isn't an art contest. The winners were chosen based on the ideas of the character, originality, back story etc.

@TitanDragonLord if that was true i may have a bit more votes, but really the votes are for eye candy..
the art..thats what people want..so my suggestion while it got in which was good and proved art isn't all it took..shows people care for art more than anything else..most people at least

 ^Yeah, the top two entries are there because they look they best to others. That's why people who just used text are probably gonna lose.

Text is good but a movie dosent sell with just a plot and a game dosent run without grafics a picture sells the idea better and the better the picture is the better the idea is sold

@44Vregil all true..but the fact my character got in the voting proves that art alone was not completely needed..
just it would basically give your chance to win in voting a better shot
really this is all based on what the voters want..what they see or think is a better choice..
it would be nice if before you vote you read mine just to even it up..it would be nice to win..though
even getting here was a achievment

i think everyone forgets that this contest is about the idea, the picture is only to make that idea clearer but it wont be copy-pasted into the game

@_scars_: I think it's fair to say people are voting based on the art, in the future they should make different contests:

Art based: Drawings, paintings, etc

Idea based concepts: No pictures allowed.

This will give the best ideas a chance to go ingame.

As nifty as the demon image looks, it's a waste to vote it. This is Oversoul, the whole thing is going to be flooded with demon. If you're given the opportunity for something different, take it rather than just more of the same.(Voted for the Witchblade, which is pretty good.) I just don't see the point of a soul eating demon when you run into Void Knights for cripes sake who say,"Prepare your soul for the abyss," etc.

Let's see:

Void Knight, VoidKnight (the red one), Blood Fiend, Skexis Fiend, Void Reaper and we will gets MILLIONS of other fiends in the future, considering Nulgath made ALOT of fiends armor in AQW which mostlikely will be added to OS. I do hope people read Zeuster's suggestions, and take a look at ALL the other entries. Looks is not everything....

(PS: Blackshock or Zeuster deserves to be 2nd IMO, with Shaister first)

Anyways..i wish it would be the top three in game..blackshock..i am coming to battle for that spot as third soon..

 Congratulations to all final entries! All of them are awesome! :D

I voted for the 2nd one. But I want to point out that it is clear from these results that people with the talent to design are instantly getting picked over say the hand-drawn or story entries, which I find unfair just because they're not as attractive. I think in the future we should hold separate contests; story-based, flash designs, and hand drawn. This will make it more fair, and show the variation in talent, wouldn't you agree?

Zuester bro, completely agree with you bout the idea being just as important as the art, but if you wanna win, I suggest you take a look at my newly edited version of your Rorkan the Mana Mage. Not saying this is what should be in-game, just trying to help more people catch their eye in your idea, eh?

@Vagaran You seem to forget that this is not a "Vote for the elemntal type char you want in game cause there are too many of the other element" poll it's a poll to what people Think is Best out of these 6 awesome ideas that were chosen.

@Zeuster honestly if it was the other Way around the Souleating fiend guy would say "This is stupid people Vote for mind candy, stories are all that count nobody appreciates good art anymore " This is what you're saying to some degree just the other Way around.
Honestly making the conclusion people judge on Eye candy is not very fair-sported of you. I myself voted for the Fiend cause I love evilness and this guy reminded mé of a buffed Uruk-hai and I'd Like to see a story be made to him and what cards he'd have Etc.
Now my second choice was your mana mage cause I really don't Like the Witchblade one to mé it seems to simple and top reminding of Illidan crossed with a witch (from WoW) and because your story was genius and Id Like to see how the art on that guy turns out. Sme people Vote on how they'd Like tings to turn out not from what art or story they see right at this moment. If it was to mé I'd have your mana mage at second place though.

Edit: forgot to ADD I dó believe some people go by art only, which is a Shame, but not newry as many as you May Think.
