I can't wait for DarkonDrago's to be added. And at this rate in a while we'll have Witchblade and Souleating Fiend as the winners, they look awesome too.

Personally I'm tired of the shadow characters. We have WAAAY too much of those already but sadly it seems we will get two more. People nowadays go for eye-candy instead of a good story i guess. :/ If you've actually read zeuster's character the art he thought of is actually much nicer looking than the two current winners in my opinion but then again people nowadays are too lazy to read :p

Opps btw can someone please provide me with a link to migo's work? I'm curious to see how nice it is :D

People aren't neccesarily to lazy to read, but more just want to go for the "makez me uber cool in game" art instead of good descriptive art...does the Fiend EVEN have a story? I really want to know the Fiend story but can't seem to find one....

 It was so hard to vote. I know pretty much almost everyone this voting poll. Those two in the lead are awesome friends of mine!

I voted for Shaister because he is a Whovian like me and we talk daily about Doctor Who

I'm sorry!

Also guys, lay down on the "Too many shadow characters" Vergil gets very annoyed very easily about it ^_^
I think it was very nice!

That has got to be one of the shortest and most normal story in OS I have ever heard. Really, most demons would be eating souls!

well if it does go ingame, I'd expect it to be a master (mgith be thinking of legendary, but I don't wanna see too many legends in game, it kinda lessens the value of legends.)

why do back stories matter for OS it has no effect on our game play

Because it makes certain characters feel a little more well rounded? Idk, that's just my take on it. XD

Knowing the back story of a character is always interesting, instead of the character just getting dumped in with a line of some sort which might make you wonder were that character was from. And I love reading!

 @Sor

Because Nulgath and Revontheus both stated they wanted a back story for interesting characters as well with good artwork. So people hoped that pure Artwork wasn't a big factor that decides winners.

Most of them do have backstories.

Last time i checked no character in ovesoul so far dosent have a story writen anywere and this was a character contest not a novel writing contest with all do respect if you dont like my fiend please for the love of god don't get it when it comes out its not that the written suggestion character is bad it just that this is a poll and its normal for people to vote what they think its cooler sorry if i offended anyone with my "eyecandy" cheap artwork.

EDIT:

And when going through character selection, the starters got a backstory aswell.

There is nothing much to do now, Fiend + Ninja Girl Assasin thing won.

Guys, calm down. Whatever you think of the char is important, but the votes speak for themselves. People want the feind in game, so they vote for it.

I agree with megakyle. This contest never really was for the contributors, but for the players of the game. What the majority want, they get. This has been a good fight and I have no qualms with the outcome.
