I don't think you understand... Tons of players have bought enhancements that means they would have to search tons of players who bought enhancements. So like I said its time consuming

I think a proper compensation should be an achievement that's worth 50,000 points.

The real fact is none know yet if there will be any, what it will be, how much or any of that. No need arguing or speculating about it. All it will lead to is trolling and arguing.

Lol , first you say no compensation and now you go trolling ???

@beast

You don't have to search players, all they have too do is code, 3slots or more enhanced with varium , gets 300 varium , easy ....

I'm sorry soul but I don't understand what your trying to suggest

@ angels. What is that point of that? 50k? That's unrealisticly unbelievable. That will never be impleted and its crazy.

If they're not compensating for enhancements, I might as well sell my enhanced weapons because I get more varium for them than I will in Omega. And its totally possible to give back a percentage of the varium and credits spent on enhancements. It can be done, ED has done it before (I recall a weapon that cost 1500 varium and ED changed the price to 1000 and compensated 500 varium for anyone who bought it for 1500). So I think there will be some sort of compensation, I just hope it's not another achievement or bike :/.

If you have enhanced any of ur weapon using varium , more than 3 slots, then for that weapon you get 300 varium, and phenomena happens with all ur varium enhanced weapons . Hope now u understand ..

I understand but why that much varium? If we should get compensation it should be full compensation. Not that low amount of compensation

They don't refund, remember its a compensation , not refund , if devs r kind enough they can make it to 500 varium per weapon :)

So they are changing this enhancement stuff? That's tons of varium down the drain. They were expected to stay but are being removed. A refund wouldn't hurt.

Varium is not any kind of real product, they don't have buy varium from store u know , they can provide as much they want , but a complete refund is something hard, as after enhancing ur weapon you did use it, anything second hand cannot be sold for 100% cash back

I agree with soul here, they said they will compensate in multiple ways, and there are only a few ways.:
Refund
Give free stuff (weapons, cheevo's or bike's)
Discount on other stuff

In this game there are not more options then those three, so we will ''probably'' get a refund on our spended var enchancements.
I think the 300-500 varium for each weapon would cover it. It isnt much but well you got where you paid for and should be happy you even get compensated.

@Angels, a cheevo of 50000 rating points, really?
Thats the worst compensation idea i ever heard.

First, the 50k cheevo sounds good

2nd, 500 per weapon? That's brutal
I'm expecting full refund, because I didn't rent the enhancements, I bought the enhancements
The compensation will probably decide my business with this games

I'm expecting a 50-25% varium refund.

An achievement is a cool idea. For players who have, say 20 enhancement points total.

Some free skill cores would do :D

The most likely scenario is a free upgrade/skillcore for each enhanced item. They can give you value, but probably won't give Varium back. It's like when you return an item in the store and get store credit, they don't always give you your money back.

Yes - in most businesses, any unwanted goods/malfunctioning ones will not be refunded but instead compensated with an item of similar value. I think this would be the likeliest option for the devs since on second thought, a Varium refund doesn't exactly seem very AE-ish.

Yh, i payed $100+ on enhancements, they take that off and give me 50k rating points.
Rating points means nothing to me and i would never pay $100+ just to get an achievment worth 50k

They said they would rework, and redesign enhancements. They will still exist, but maybe in the form of a different kind of upgrade.
Players who have enhancements on their weapons will probably receive the upgrades for free, or just partially upgraded depending on the number of enhancements.

But that's just an idea. I still believe the compensation will be this kind of reward. Not refunds.

I mean, it just makes sense!
If you have an upgraded weapon, you will continue having an upgraded weapon, but in a different system.

@vype

A level 35 weapon with 36 damage, what upgrading does that needs ?? Free upgrading is a complete loss to players , I prefer compensation in varium, even if the amount is less ...

I am also for the refund.

They should give us the chance to re-spend that varium/credits on something else instead of giving away some items or cheevos as compensation.

Simply because if it wasn't for enhancements I obviously wouldn't have spent that much varium on one item or a cheevo.

Giving an item or cheevo as compensation is forcing me to accept having spent all that varium for that item. And I do not want to.

And of course compensation should be scaled to the amount of varium and credits everyone has spent. Therefore a flat compensation will be awful.
