Apparently, knowledge towards a compensation will be released next week.

I also hope it is a refund.

I hope it's an achievement or really cool Omega bike. Refunds would bankrupt the game.

How would it bankrupt the game?


Basically it would allow all the players to shift the old enhancements costs to the skill core equipping cost.




Basically if its a refund its more of a switching of a feature from enhancements to skill cores.


If their is no refund then basically its just scrapping all the old enhancement costs people earnt and spent and then adding a new feature which still costs heaps in which the old enhancements earning its worthless.



What you are suggesting bankrupts players, possibly leading them to quit and therefore bankrupting the game in the long run.

We should be able to exchange our enhancements for cores.

^ That is also a good idea.

though a refund would mean we could also use our enhancement money to level up our weapons as well as get skill cores.

When war kill went it didn't bankrupt that game did it? At the time next to enhancement war kills were want people sank hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars into to be on the all time warkills LB. Then all of a sudden boom war kills were removed from the game and no one got a refund for them. However did this kill the game? No it didn't at worse it just made a few people quit.

All Im saying is mother, is that surely the devs should do the nice thing and refund us so we can use the earnings into the next cash heavy feature they are adding?


That aint to much to ask is it?



Im not the one suggesting the game will get bankrupt, just players will if they dont refund us for enhancements.

^ Because they are introducing another cost heavy feature to replace enhancements, that is why.


Also war kills was a pointless feature, wasting money on that was completely unnecessary.

Where as enhancements was basically a feature forcing you to pay or be put at a disadvantage.

Plus overall on the whole a more amount of people would of spent money on enhancements therefore more likely to anger a higher amount of players.

They said they would compensate us for using enhancements. They never said how they would do so. It could be as angel said just a cheevo or a bike. We don't know. Remember what they did with war kills? They took a percentage of them and added it to our influence.

But doesn't it make more seance that if they are gonna make a new cost heavy feature to replace an old one , to simply refund those effected so they can switch the earning across?


Anything else would just be cruel.

But as pointed out I dont make the decision just expressing my opinion.

Saying you do not want a refund for a broken merchandise only because you're afraid the shop would go bankrupt is the stupid side of selflessness.

Just to clarify the people that are using the War kills as an example to this

They are not the same.
War Kills purpose was:
Daily Achievement
Influence
Board
Yes the Board has been removed but the true purpose aka the Influence has not been removed.
Also you still have the achievement.

The Purpose of Enhancements were to increase the stats of a weapon.
It has no other purpose, so removing that would mean the Stats that you bought were lost forever

^what? 1000 varium only? Others have spent over 10,000 on enhancements alone... Anyways, lets not judge what the compensation is yet, wait till next week and we'll see! Hopefully I'll be surprised in a good way :3

Here's the problem. Epic Duel said "Hey, pay us a bunch of money and we'll give you an extra advantage over people who don't pay us anything". So a LOT of people paid a LOT of money to get their enhancements. Then, after we pay them they say, "Thanks for all the money, but we're taking back our merchandise".

It's not difficult to see why people want compensation.

 we will get compensation and i highly doubt it will be a bike or cheevo cos the staff know how much that would upset most of the playerbase no matter how much some people try *cough* angels *cough*

i agree with the idea if the items enhanced u can skill core it free that would suite me or just the varium back eitha works .

what i wodnt be happy with is a bike or cheevo since a bike is worthless to me as i alrdy have gamma bike and i dnt c the point in that tbh . and a cheevo would have to be worth about 40000 rating points to be worth even close to the money i spent on enhancements and tbh 40k is prolly extremely conservative . for this reason i dnt think ny item or cheevo will cut it as it would not even get close to matching the value of varium spent on enhancements .

i think the only way to go is either

1) allow people to skill core weapons that were enhanced completely free

2) give about 30-50% refund bk to varium spent on enhancements

personally i think option 1 is the best way to go

No as it says in T&C Refunds are not to be given, but atleast we get compensation.

The no refund thing if referring to turning varium back into cash,

It is completely allowed and up to the devs to give a varium and or credit refund.

im not really fussed, as i only ever spent a maximum of 200 varium on each item that i enhanced.

personally id be happy with a decent looking aux.
