Hakunin, your idea of a character with zero cards so you would have to get 5 from Card Customization sounds dangerous, since you would get the same hand every turn. There's no card that gives energy in series so people couldn't spam the most powerful attacks and recover their energy, but it could still be abused. I think the idea is interesting, but it would eliminate the need for a lot of other characters.

Right now I hope Nulgy sees it because there are a ton and I mean a ton of writing submissions that he has to read through and right now this is the best one I've written so far plus I put a huge amount of thought into it. (I notice two typo errors, but overall it should be fine)

Well it's pretty much same base set rules at the moment, but in the next contest if the condition is set like this: "The contest winners from the last contest can still add their submissions, but will be not be placed in the finals." It might be okay to be fair. The art contest could have that rule, but the writing contest may be difficult since it really depends on the writer and there are a lot of good backstory submissions that I've seen, but then the same could be said with art.

I do promote fair play, but the majority of it does come down to the players so next time we have a contest, a rule for the winners can be created if a good amount suggest it to Nulgath.

How about the winners are not able to participate in the next contest because barring them for life after winning once really isn't a fair deal.

Geez, that is really over-powered. That's something you'd see in Anime, I think. It's...not good, to say the least. Just my opinion. The fact he "ruled the Void" or whatnot is extremely irritating, considering how much lore that interferes with. Try toning it down a bit or something. In this stage, it seems poorly though out. On top of that, you could have been a little more creative with the animations. Nodding his head for every action seems silly.

It seems pretty decent. You don't need to mention that he is a forlorn knight who has sinned in every paragraph. We can make the assumption that he's a messed up guy after the first couple of times. I love the tone and the idea behind it, though. A once-noble knight looking for redemption. Good stuff.

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I get a little messy when I write short transcripts like this, since I'm more accustomed to writing longer pieces.

Thanks and yes it does seem anime cliche', but I thought the animations were appropriate since he is a powerful being that doesn't need to feel to move much.

I did state in the backstory he was the shadow of the Creator and he is the overall judge of all worlds whether or not he created them especially he judges his brother's worlds. The Underworld was created from the fallen servant and the brother rules over heaven so what's left? The Void. I thought the Void was appropriate because there is no good and no evil, but the existence of both order and chaos. Order is kept within the bounds of rules that is set on the world, but Chaos can be ensued within the realms reality.

Well I know I can improve it, but I feel the overall backstory was too big for the entry so I had to literally cut out majority of the bits I had planned out.

You're not really helping yourself in the "OP" department. I mean, AE has some pretty ridiculous stuff in their games. But that is quite a bit. I can suspend disbelief for Fantasy, but not the to extremes. It just doesn't feel like it would belong in OS. Just the way I see it though.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Redingard. God-like characters can only get you so far, as they get boring rather quickly.
From an RP and story standpoint the character is unbelievable in a very bad way.

Well I did pull him out of my novel that I am writing so it's understandable. Majority of the characters I suggest for the contest are coming from my novel so it does put them out of place. Yeah in my book he is OP, but in every world the "Family" visits, they are restricted by rules and majority of their power is severely weakened to fit the world's setting.

If for say he were to visit OS then Rayzu would be at a point to where his power creation is weakened to the point to be only to create weapons like Red Archer from the Fate Stay Night series. The "Family" and soldiers are bound to the same rules so the order of the world would not be disrupted.

Besides I remember awhile back that someone wanted an overall powerful character that just reeks of power (looks and background wise I believe) I thought that he would be perfect for this realm, but that would mean him and Nulgath would be in a contest of power in this current situation.

Overall I don't expect to get into the finals again because there are a lot of pretty awesome entries, but overall sharing my characters to the community is my top spot along with creating stories to share with others.

God characters are indeed frowned upon in RP and terms of story, but giving them set rules upon the world that they visit or meddle in would grant them vulnerabilities to the set world's terms of fair play hence creates an idealistic approach to a god-like being to show that they are not immortal and can do as they please, but to show that for their price of power, they must adhere to set rules placed upon them like the Doctor from Doctor Who.

If the rules were to be broken then penalties are given as a price to defeating the purpose of freedom of power.

Thanks for the feedback and it gives me some thought to how I'll tackle Rayzu again for the next contest.

He's still overpowered if he can create weapons from nothing. The mere implications of that are ridiculous; not to mention, he doesn't feel well thought-out. Why shorten it when, like this, it's a relatively bad character? You could improve on so many things so that it would be suitable for OS. But it's not. I can't tell you how to write your novel and whatnot, but what's the point of submitting a character that would be lore-breaking to the game?

, it's merely a suggestion nothing too serious besides these characters that we suggest aren't really going to be part of the lore so it's not really lore-breaking. I know the implications to the explanation, but this is the best I can come up with for now. With that said, the next contest I will rethink the backstory in a way that it would be universally accepted in all forms. It's really hard to explain the universe of my character through a mere backstory, but in a sense I see the problems and will rewrite it again to a proper form. I just enjoyed writing out the character a little too much.

Bad character... is debatable, but it's your opinion so I respect it. I can see your arguement to my explanation of the power weakening rule so I'll take note and clarify it the next time I rewrite his whole character.

Anyways in my novel he is a god (he hates being called that term), but if it's no good then I have a good 20+ characters that can take his place in terms of proper settings to OS.
