Oh dear the two turning is back only difference is that it is with merc's instead of blood mage. only difference is that maul is blockable unlike fire.

Actually, It is very simple beating them. Well for me I lose AND win. See, If the merc starts first with stun and I am saved, What I do is smoke and hope by chance I block berzerker. And If I go first, I smoke. I have a more chance of blocking the stun, so when I block it, I am using Frost Destroyer. So I use it's core and the merc gets -5 ep. So, it isnt IMPOSSIBLE to beat a mercenary.

Again i'm tired of these arguements of "Well if you have this and this and this class then their not unbeatable" some players want to use BM, TM, Tact, Cyber you know.

Cyber hunter has EMP from the start so they can EMP them. With exact energy TM can use assimalation to stop berzerker, Blood TLM has atom smasher to remove energy, and BM while they don't have a energy remove skill can use a core to counter berzerker.

Honestly, the only thing you gotta do to counter a merc is take away bezerker somehow. Blocks, mana removal are methods available to every class. While mercs are strong if you don't have a counter ability to them, they are significantly less strong if you PREPARE for them.

Using an energy reducer would be foolish, that only wastes your turn to let them slam you with another 40 damage.

I have tried so hard to stop berzerker, it doesn't matter, they'll use double strike instead and get a free turn, it does not work.

have you ever heard of mana drain? like seriously now.

yes, the whole merc berzerk thing is OP but there are several ways to circumvent it.

i.e. - mana drain, stun them since they have LOW support, unblockable abuse, etc.

and well, for the time being now that omega is pretty messed up: if u cant beat em, join em

which is a 3rd of ur hp gone at best prolly more like halve .

61 tech +28
Support 42
Defense is 31 +7
Resistance 34+3
An my build is heal 4
Blood lust max. Smoke screen 2. Energy shield an dex 4. Shadow arts max. Emp 2 or 1.

^ 75 is about the amount which a rage berserk hits, no matter your defense...


If your saying you rely on blocking that, that's all well and good and effective, but it shouldn't have to be the case.

Why should STR builds be so powerful as to requiring luck to beat?

Once I lower their dex I have a higher chance of blocking them an then I dex shield my self after I use the platnium pride to take their rage then I use yeti to eat their weapons

As a Blood Mage I fair pretty well against them unless they go first, stun, and berzerker. But that's unlikely with good support and dex. So when I go first, I just fight fire with fire and hit them down with those bad defenses. You deal high damage and gain Blood Lust, until you have survived the Berzker at which point I heal for 48 Health. This takes care of them for another turn and then I just Chairman of kill.

Mercenaries can have good defence and still spam out strength. They are really overpowered again like Gamma and Beta. Berserker can hit like over 60 easily in the 2nd turn. Are you kidding me?

Easy solution would be to lower the damage of our weapons. When a player with 18 strength can still do 10 damage to you there's a problem.

not really all mercs just strength ones by putting like a tech and dex requirement on berserker and double strike like maybe 40 for max berserker and double strike with a support requirement on maul

Because I am a support mercenary right now but am not haveing too many problems with strength one since I intimidate them makng them have to use blood commander which leaves them open to aux and artillery them which usually kills them

Buff Adrenaline.

Give a support requirement to Berzerker and Double Strike.

Weaken Berzerker's scaling from 5% per skill point to 3% until Level 6, then 2% until Max.

Double Strike needs a 2 turn cooldown. It's just too easy to spam.

Or just remove the whole OP skill.
First BMs were OP with it.
Now mercs are OP with it.
Aka, berzerker itself is OP. And what do we do with OP skills?
REMOVE THEM!

Honestly, i always win from these mercs IF I START FIRST, if i start second im always death, only when i block i still got a chance.
But that does not take away they are very OP.

what would you suggest they replace the skill with one? in order to remove something they must replace with.

Second even if you did remove this skill guess what? It doesn't solve the problem at hand. Strength merc would still be able to clobber you as they still have a ton of other moves that work with strength that are powerful.

However the same suggestion I made before that you rejected before would be a much better idea which is to nerf strength itself. In case you hadn't noticed the old strength builds of delta are still going strong, and now the strength merc you said wasn't a problem is along with the other classes that work with strength builds due to lack of stats.
