Yeah I kept frostbolt blaster but I really don't like icy chill as I have already beat George Lowe!

It isn't worthless since it can still be used to be george lowe with ease. infernal spirit, exoskeletion, and charface's fury those are worthless. Besides the staff said some cores would be forever locked so they wouldn't lose their identities. This was said from the way beginning way before omega started in the design notes.

 @mother1: That would make sense for perma-rares to be permanently locked, but not for seasonals like most of the winter weapons.

if that was the case infernal spirit and exoskeletion would still be locked since those are perma rares.

Supported. If you want to beat George Lowe you can keep the core. Others that beat him already have no use and should be given the option to buy a new core.

I say unlock icy chill, and all the infernals. At least give us the option to have a usefull core in them.

where have you been? All the infernal weapons (unless you are talking about the infernal interdictor) had their cores unlocked.

oh. lol I sold mine so I didn't notice. lol Still should unlock icy chill though. I DO have those guns on both my main characters. :D

Meh, the current passive cores just aren't worth it. I'd rather be able to hand George Lowe's butt to him whenever I feel like it than pay 7,000 credits for a +4% crit chance on strikes.

I used the skill core twice to kill George Lowe for Yeti and Dark Yeti missions.

Still, I support it being unlocked, but personally I'll wait for there to be some sort of core inventory to store the skill in before I take it off my weapons.
