Its baffles me that everytime a new kind of build is found or revived, it is called op. You guys just lack the skill to beat the build, stop copying the build and try to make one to counter it. Support for example, it can be shot down very easily. If a merc is spamming support use reflex boost. If you are a merc going against a support you should have a balanced build, same thing for tm and bms

@ cyber dream

Before they didn't have rabble's formula to make them almost always go first. Before you could abuse support but it was random. However now it is almost granteed that you go first if you have the most support. When you know you can go first all the time you can exploit that to the max and with the right gear this will destroy most players especially if you have the azreal's gear.

yeahh... when you KNOW your going to go first then you can just take away all your hp points and put them into support knownng your gonna go first.. get an aux shot off then proceed
to murder them turn two with artillery. obviously there are counters.. but yeah abusing support isn't "skill" so yeah and like depressed void said flame threads = no go

Isnt that the purpose of having support? ...
even though they start first, they got only 2 dmg sources (artillery/auxiliary) which you can survive easily.
After that they are literally nothing.
Support tm's are a bit harder, but if you take their gun/aux from them they are also nothing.

Only time you are in trouble is when you get 2 support builds in 2vs2 against ya.
if there is only 1 it is easy to counter.

this post is sooooo true.
supp mercs are garbage, very easy to beat even if u dont have azraels gear neither yeti. all u need is a high medic, high hp (around 100) and good defenses+ energy drain to stop their healing/another multi.

Support can be easily beaten due to lack of defense, but it is based on the build as you as a player makes to counter this. Check out my Crazy Build Thread On General Discussion to see what I'm talking about because there are players that can counter support abuse players.

support is OP in some cases, imagine being ganged up by 2 support abuse mercenaries in 2v2 or meeting a support abuse techmage and cyber hunter in 1v1, they go first almost all the time and deal ridiculous amounts of crits stacked with high rage gain, doesn't that sound OP?
unlike strength abuse which can be avoided or countered by using a debuff, block or deflection, support abuse cannot be avoided easily since you cannot block their AUX or lower their damage unless you have the curse skill core.
especially after the nerf to resistance, classes with malfunction are having fun abusing it.

actually, I have to say that this post is true. If anything, caster builds are OP because of their absurd win rate. I have literally never beaten a caster without multiple crits from my support builds, and without azrael's gear I wouldn't even stand a chance with my own creative builds (unless I used my supertank one, which I won't use because it takes too long and the tournament is my priority right now). Just because a build is fast and can win a decent amount, doesn't mean its OP. The builds with 90%+ win rates which can be used without skill are definitely OP. I'm using support merc right now, and it's very fast at getting wins. However, it barely even reaches a 70% win rate, so how can anyone call this overpowered? I can't kill most BHs, BMs, and tank CHs without absurd crit luck. If anything, the 4% crit cores could use nerfing considering they double base crit chance.

Admit it. You are using an op build. I wasted most of my credits looking for a good bh build but care to explain how come I have hard time beating a support tech mage with malf the new azrael weapons. Will I give up if a class is op? Prove me wrong and show me your calculations. Would some pros switch to an op build if they lack skills? And then why the heck did they nerf resistance?

Thanks grammar schutzstaffels now time to troll 2v2 hehehe.

@Exploding Penguin because support mercenaries lacks a debuff to increase their damage, support techmage and cyber hunters are OP because they have skills and ultimate skills that works with their debuff, their debuff even improves with support.
casters are powerful but beatable due to the nerf to resistance, while the current support abuse cybers and TMs are not easily beatable, just look at how often they crit!

This is how the vast majority of my support merc encounters go:
Support Merc with Energy Aux takes out more than half of my or my partner's life->my partner or I heal->their partner attacks->probably another heal on my team's part or a useless attack->artillery strike

There are very few battles where you can use Matrix or Reflex Boost.

Well for me support isnt op ..... in fact the Azrael skill core is OP and makes support OP (says non support build CH)

I agree with that,

And I also think an effective solution would be to make some powerful defensive cores.

That's if they don't decide on doing the azreal core nerfs like many people have been asking both before and after it's release...

My Ideas for Azrael Will:

These are the possible things that can be implemented:

• Give additional warmup
• Lower damage
• Give the core x% chance to force strike by making it passive
• Simply give it a new skill --> Force the target to strike u and take x% of energy based on your damage

Azrael aux:

give warmup and lower the damage to <20%

What about making it only a scaled chance rather than decreased damage? 40%?
