-_____-. I'm speechless. Update is going to be somewhere around 8-9pm EST.

1am-2am in england/portugal.
7-8am in india.
2am-3am in denmark/france.
10am-11am in china
etc.


Most of the europian countries are getting betrayed. Waaaah ;'(. Why, Why. update at 1am. I don't want to stay that late just to get a code from youtube and wait......

I knew it!!! I bet they are always going to release it at 8-9pm EST to make all the other asian countries feel better and leave out the European countries......

Now we European people have to wait till night to get the update.......

Oh why... Oh why....

Why did people have to complain about update being so late for the Asian countries. I'm sad ;'( (Its good they are doing the code otherwise I wouldn't wait for the update and go to bed).


P.S.

I might aswell play Sim City for the time to past, get my code and go off.

Not really. I was really appreciating 6PM EST but nope, its going to be late again.


The 3rd time it happened. going to count how many times they've been late for an update now.

1st-Golden yeti tourney-12:35am/6:35pm EST (Wouldn't count that as late but for me in england, they normally do it at 12am sharp).
2nd________________-1am+/7pm+ EST (Was waiting till 1 am and still they didn't update, so I went off).
Now this..... I think I should just forget about ED updates since they're always going to come late (For me in the UK).

No, I wanted them to do it at 6pm EST.

Who said that i wanted it at 3am EST.

If they did it at 6am EST. It would be 12am for me and I see can whats going on.

But no, its at 1 am, that is too late and I won't be asked to wait

I don't see what's the deal, honestly. They work on the US timetable, and they release when they are ready. It has nothing to do with Europe and Asia. Would you rather have them release a completely broken release?

I'm from Denmark and I know how it feels...however I'm quite used to it seeing as all AE games update at around Midnight here...Unless there is something really awesome (like awesome limited gear) I'm not that disappointed in the late update time....

Not really, but I want the game to improve. I want them to submit there work on time.

I want them to have a proper deadline. Not just through it out to the ED players, then saying its late.

Its same with University. When you get a deadline, you have to complete it , in a period of time, otherwise you will fail.

Its like ED giving a deadline to the players that it will come at this date/day. but it doesn't come.

They do have a deadline. Universal for the AE games. "When it's ready o'clock". And I can assure you they will be on time. They never specify an exact deadline due to the uncertainty of nothing breaking. They may give estimates, but that amounts for nothing.

And believe me, right now I have all the reason to want the update as soon as possible. However, I don't expect it to be there precisely when I want it. I know it'll be here when it's done.

Getting mad over late release times is pointless. It won't make the release come faster.

The only reason why I am complaining, is firstly because of the code -___-. Why can't they just release the code now and get it after the update.

The second reason is I have been seeing that the past updates were very late for me. 1am+, by that time, my eyes will be all red, eye bags, slouching (not putting my back straight) etc.

I'd rather have at update at 12-12:30am. And check out whats new. Then go off.

How do you even know that this code won't be delivered in bulk like the last one? Plus if it is an ultra rare or rare item like before they will do two drops. I remember the staff saying that on twitter when the masses moaned and groaned about the bounty pistol.

I guess the staff still didn't learn to not give release dates and times, they ALWAYS fail giving correct date and times yet they still do..
They should give it if they are 100% certain but that's how the ED staff are..

Well the thing is, if you want the code so much, you can get it, no matter what the time is.

The updates may be late for you, but nothing forces you to stay up. You can check the releases in the morning. I do that at times. Or I sleep before the releases.

So, why do you prefer a faulty release as opposed to a late one? If you actually want the game to improve, broken releases won't help with that.

I'm used to waiting up to 5 am for releases in DF and the like. I don't have an issue with that because I do actually want the game to not break down. Yes, there are times I'd LIKE to have the release come earlier, like now, but I don't consider myself more important than the game itself.

Lycan: They should realize that giving an estimate always ends up in someone taking it as a promise of a precise time, despite it not being such.

You'll never know.

ED is Unexpected.

They could give in bulk or they could give it in a Limit. Or sometimes if they give it in a later stage (Two drops), it will be very unlikely of me getting it anyways, if I wait for tomorrow. I do not check twitter alot TBH (I don't know if they give out the code on ED, when the bar pops out and says the code either). Last time when the spoons were given out, I just checked twitter, and saw the code for the spoon. It was quite recent, so I copied the code and pasted it. It was Invalid -____-. All of you American people are so lucky.

If I can only go to America...................... It wouldn't be so late.

 It's not like tomorrow is Saturday. Unless you go to school then or work, it shouldn't bother you as much since you have day or two off.. >.> ED is based in US so release times are suitable to those who live there. I don't know what will happen for those living elsewhere who cannot play just after the release. Will it kill you? No? Then there is no problem.

I would do this also but so impossible. 1am when the update is coming for me right?

I cannot go to sleep at 7pm-8pm. Tooo early. If ED did an update at, lets say....... reset then I would go to bed at 10pm.

7pm is too early for me to go to sleep. I would be rolling around my bed, not falling asleep and wide awake.

Blitz: What I mant was that if you want the code (and the Prize) enough, you can and will arrange it so that you do.

@above: I can do that just fine. You just need to learn how to do it. Alternatively you can just not sleep and stay up. and it's not like it'd be more than a regular nap.

If my wedding starts at 10am, the code releases at 11am.
Im still possible to get it?

There are situations what you simply cant cancel due to it only happening once in a lifetime or just a year.
(No im just 19, the wedding things is just a example)

I am talking about updates being a bit later then what it was before omega.
The updates for ED is like it just moved back 1 hours later ;P.

I am only complaining about the codes.

I think they should do the same with the Golden yeti ticket where it splits up (Or doesn't) for your omega gear+Omega ticket etc.

 Why would you put a mere game over a wedding in the first place..? Even as an example. If you pick game over wedding, you sir have an addiction problem.

Blitz: You COULD cancel your wedding for it. It'd be really stupid, but it just means you want the wedding more. You COULD. You just WON'T.

Hulk: The releases are now later due to there being issues with the release. Not by choice.
