As said, the Golden Yeti tournament will run for two weeks. And the two weeks is up.
However, the Tournament isnt stopped, and looks like it may extend until tomorrow.
I don't think this is fair to the players on the board, who already clinched a spot, or have a possibility to clinch a higher tier cheevo.
If you look at the top spot, IM UR OWNER's lead has been cut from 1200 points to only 700 points. He probably went to bed realizing the tournament was going to end today, NOT tomorrow. And because it may end tomorrow, he may lose that top spot.

So, if there is no update today, do you think that the tournament should be stopped? It seems only fair, as they were informed that the tournament would be 14, NOT 15 days. Discuss.

They are still getting rid of bugs and they never did say that they weren't giving the update today. We still have time before the update comes.

I know the never said they werent updating today. But if for some reason they dont, should they stop the tournament?

They said the tournament would last 2 weeks, today that two weeks has ended. I think with the current pending update the tournament with remain until the update is released, by that note the tournament will end when the update is released the reason it hasn't ended is because the update hasn't come yet so they plan to keep it until the release as it would make sense to end it with the update all together.

EDIT: However if we go by that logic of the tournament ending today with the requirement of the release then by that logic the update must come today so the tournament can end like it's suppose too.
However, I don't think that would stop them from releasing a mini update to end the tournament followed later by the actual one.

And it's down. I never expected I'd have to sit 24 hours on Friday for this. Nevertheless, Top 20 attained.

I saw the patch notes and they are tighter level matches for the lower levels.
