Daylight Savings Time
March 10th to November 3rd
Daylight Savings Time is practiced in most of the U.S. states, including Florida where the AE Team is based from. The process involves moving one hour ahead at the start, March 10th, and moving one hour back at the end, November 3rd.
As mentioned earlier, the AE Team is based from Florida - EpicDuel will follow whatever time changes occur there. Anything that is affected by time in the game - such as daily competitions, power hours and world dominations - will be shifted with DST.
If your area uses Daylight Savings Time, you will not notice any differences with in-game times and you will see days end and start at the time you usually see them occur in your local timezone.
If your area DOES NOT use Daylight Savings Time, you will notice time shifts by an hour. Starting March 10th, you will see that server resets and power hours will occur one hour earlier in your local timezone. When November 3rd comes, server resets and power hours will move back 1 hour locally.
If you're not sure if your area uses Daylight Savings Time, you may refer to this handy map below (click on it for a larger view).
DST goes into effect on March 10th at 2AM. The clock will move an hour forward during this time.
If your area does NOT use DST, the effects mentioned earlier will be seen - experiencing server resets and power hours an hour earlier.
Blue - DST used | Orange - DST no longer used | Red - DST never used
