I couldn't agree with you more. Although I have the sword,I use to have an extremely slow comp. It would take 5 minutes to load the next screen.
Also A lot of time you get disconnected during the process and have to restart. I remember one time it took me 30 minutes just to login.

And no, its not becuase "Stop downloading crap" I haven't downloaded a single software on it, other than my homeschool programs. Its the fact that it was super old.

What makes me mad it when the people say "You should been read" or "First come first serve"
istead of saying "I'm sorry you didn't get the code, better luck next time."

@Trans ~ I'm not gonna say it IS the devs fault the problem with these codes is all the people that hoard the things and get a sword on 4-5 different characters and they
do this with every code. They need to make it to where a master account can only use the code ONCE per code any other code attempts should be met with "you have
already redeemed this code" messages maybe then some people who normally wouldn't get the codes would.

Or do it how this code was done. Instead of giving whole new code, they put up the same code that has expired at 9AM and restocked it at 6PM, so those who redeemed it once with x code cannot use it again unless the code is different.

There is NO issue with codes using on multiple characters. They aren't any different to our main characters, they do need weapons to fight with and you cannot claim you have, say, Deathbringer because it's not on your alt but your main character. If they have chance to get it on alts then let it be. Why is it so bad? What if I make 3 accounts, is that any better than alts? Mains aren't any different to alts, they still fight in the same way, they fight similar people in PvP, but they aren't just a main character. That's all.

The bounty pistol expired in 3 minutes and there was only 500 of that item. Not to mention when I went looking around the central station and fortune city I saw mobs of people around them as well So even without hording the items would have went fast.

Add to the fact that anyone who knows the code can get it for free and it will go even faster unlike the limited rares which won't go as quick since you need to have the right amount of credits or varium to purchase it.

2 death bringers, I didn't even know it was a death bringer for the 9am code, the second one was just clueless to me, it not my fault, and I'm cruel?, I could have used this code to my other alts but no, I didn't because I felt sorry for people like you who couldn't get it, all you had to do was to manage your time and be fast, and you could have gotten it couldn't you. I woke up at 8:30am just to get the code and I deserve it, so do other people as well. My logic of organizing will help you a lot in the future, next time, be early and be fast so you can get the prize

why should I even bother discussing it you guys don't have to deal with not having it cause oh look you all have the items... so imo your views are probably biased...
I just think it's utter bs that someone can get multiple copies of an item where others can't even get ONE of the item even if they get on only a few minutes after the code is released
it's not right in the least.. they might as well just make it a limited time code instead since rarity is broken now since people suddenly have these 'ultra rares' filling there inventory.

Smasher, you don't understand the fact that a lot of people have super slow comps. They can't choose to have a fast comp. One time i was already at cyber guard waiting for a code, and it took me over 15 minutes to get it due to the lag + my comps lag.

When I clicked "Submitt" it didnt respond till 10 minutes later.

You woke up at 8:30 eh?

Well i woke up around 6 central time. But guess what, at 7:50 (8:50 server time) I got disconnected and didnt get logged back in for another 15 minutes. But luckily for me, I managed to get it 18 minutes late.

I don't have all the items, I'm just a level 29 noob planning to dominate just as a non-vairum, I don't have all the items but I don't need them, it's just a sword, a sword is just ike any other sword. I know what is feels like missing out for stuff. During the release of oversoul, I missed the stress test 3 times and by the time I played the game, I missed out on the rewards. I was sad but I didn't care, I just went on and played and hoped I will get the next prize.

It has been said ever since they started giving out codes to follow them on twitter since they would post codes there, as well as look at design notes. Plus if you were reading forums in the staff development thread it was not only posted there but I even made a thread about the code since I was following them on twitter and knew.

Now that is just plain mean? Just because someone get's the item and says something like better luck next time or first come first serve makes them biased? Trans even quoted the NW who is staff and he said some of the same things some of the so called biased people already said. Does that make the staff themselves biased?

No I don't see the devs as biased but the whole "first come first served" is utter bs say person one has a bad connection and person two has a good connection
Person One logs in at 5 till code gets disconnected due to lag or some unforseen reason
Person Two logs in at Code release and gets the code on there main
Person One tries to log in but the game is running slow and has to wait
Person Two switches to a new character and gets the item again
Person One finally gets on an oh look it's expired

So even though person one was the "first come" he obviously was not "first served" due to things THAT ARE NOT IN HIS ABILITY TO CONTROL.

I'm sorry but thats how it is, yes it's not fair, yes it's not cool, but in all honesty, it's just a sword, I really hate to think that players are unlucky, I have done nothing wrong on purpose, I never knew that the code I have gotten was the same sword. It's better to just let it go and hope for another chance

You said you didn't know about the code, I was just listing what the staff said to do from day one when it came to prize codes and finding them. Heck When I found out about the prize code I knew there would be complaining so to try and minimize it I made a topic about it so they would know about it as well.

I see where you are coming from. This system favors people with faster computers, and matching time zone. However I still say what they did today is an improvement since it does stop the same players from getting the same thing from the same code twice.

I meant I didn't know the code was a deathbringer sword, I was trying to explain that it wasn't my intention to ruin someones chances as I hoped to get another prize. I agree, it's was an improvement for not letting players use the code again

I know right. For me it was the same thing. I thought it was something different and not everyone who got the item knew that it was the same thing again. So IMO It isn't fair that you are blaming those of us who got the item twice on one account without knowing because the staff never told us it was the same item.

@Master Smasher all you see is a sword but that's where we differ I like to collect rares and having all these ultra rares literally tossed into the game free of charge yet
never having a chance in hell to get one It's pretty dang annoying.. I'm not saying collect as in raising rarity points I honestly don't care about that. I loved the art
of some of these heck the only reason I even participated in the tournament was for the golden yeti. I don't care about the achievements. But back on topic I HATE that no
matter how hard I try or how fast I get on the game I'm always met with the "code has expired" message even though its only been 4-5 minutes since release. And i'm sure its
almost always the same people who get the itemds.

I am not blaming you or anyone who used the code once not knowing what it was. With the first time you have the I didn't know thing going for you since you truly didn't know since the staff never said what it was.

It is the people who later on found out what it was and decided to go double dipping anyways when they already had the item I am getting at.

what cool rares ... I have the golden yeti,delta knight, and infernal those are like the only things I have that you can't get in game... omega promos sure azreals they will be out for creds next year
but you wanna know what they all have in common? I PAID FOR THEM... none of them were free ( technically you had to pay for the golden yeti/ work to receive it.

You forgot about your 10 year titan. Last I checked even though it is free it still counts as an ultra rare item. But on another note you and I have one thing in common we both like collecting rares and if I knew that it was the same rare again I would have left it alone but like master smasher I didn't know. I just punched in the code and then after doing so found out it was the same thing.

ok so a bike that's rather ugly plus everyone and there friend got because even if you didn't even help in the whole ebilcorp thing you could still get them item.
Plus yes I love collecting these items but want to know how many of the codes I have gotten ZERO because of the people who hoard them just because they can
even if you FEW are innocent there are COUNTLESS more that hog the codes.

To answer your question that would be 3 ultra rare codes that gave 2 items. The first was the bounty pistol, and the last would be this sword which has 2 codes. But yeah as I said before there needs to be away that only one master account can get an item per code along with IP address checks. Combine these two and hording will need nearly impossible.
