It's pretty much the truth; TML is at the bottom of the 3 evolved classes currently.

First they removed Technician and replaced it with an "Ok" skill, Blood Shield. But the next remove & replace skill was a disaster: Smoke Screen being replaced by a relatively useless skill; Field Commander, which is easily beat by Blood Commander, what normal mercs have.

If they were to re-add Smoke Screen to TML's skill tree, it would bring more popularity to them and take out some of the 125 health cybers with Azrael's Anguish (P/E) and 7 massacre.

They removed smoke from TLM because the class was was OP back when they had it. A passive shield, passive energy gain, Debuff? It was way too much. Strength TLM was destroying the masses back then and it wasn't fun in the least.

It was one of the biggest balance mistakes they made, let's not revive that mistake and just say we did ok?

not supported. If they add Smoke to TLMs then they should add Malf to the Original mercs

now way, i use to love it when tac had smoke screen, but only because i had the class. It will unbalance the game waaaaaay too much. Not supported.

Smoke Screen is too much, TLM's are UP but that would be very OP to add. Perhaps replace stun grenade with bezerker?

As a note, every class must have a Stun skill so I doubt it'd work. Would TLMs prefer Maul back instead? Scaled % to stun as you train it (the higher, the better), and ignores 20% of defences IIRC which is same as % damage boost. Would TLMs be fine with yet another blockable skill? Or Grenade that uses Dex which is useless to TLMs due to lack of Dex skills + MA?

Stun Grenade is "kinda" important.. To some builds.

WAIT. PERFECT IDEA.

"MORTAR STRIKE"

Replacing

"ARTILLERY STRIKE"

It's a 1 hit physical strike... Haven't though it through yet.
