Man, we really need better definitions of game mechanics :P Stat Boosters make a weapon better, therefore they are enhancements. Cores make a weapon better, therefore there are enhancements. Now, for the concept of cores, like I suggested before, the cores should not make one more powerful, but more diverse. Of course, a person with cores will always be more powerful compared to one without, but the power difference should be as slight as possible, giving both players an equal chance of grabbing a win. Diverse means more viable and varied strategies, such as the (slightly overpowered) Azrael's Will was able to demonstrate. Now, Support builds have to fear for being hit by the core, and modify their builds to be able to last one more turn to fire off their Artillery Strike. In my opinion, all cores should follow this concept: Variety before Power. EDIT: Rambled off topic. Anyways, I believe luck-based skill cores fall into the Power group. Even though it doesn't activate every turn, the potential of a block or a stun is extremely dangerous. Replacing them with cores that simply help reduce damage by a fixed amount, or increases damage by around 5%, would be much more balanced.
