I can see the ways of getting good now

1. Special card booster packs ,SG
2. Level characters and get special cards
3. Buy normal boosters, gold

There's nothing saying that the booster packs are for SGs only. I for one foresee many different shops in-game selling these things for Gold. In fact, this could be a major use for Gold, besides the characters!

I think they should have gold packs for sg
Like 10 sg for 100,000 gold

That way everyone can get the same booster packs and there will be no advantage other then the sg buyers getting packs faster

Yup, that's me: gonna stay positive until proven wrong. Specifically that Gold will be the major currency in CC, and not too big of an advantage will be given to SG users.

@The Jop
The quick leveling with SGs is a necessary evil though; without them, few new players would be encouraged to level anything, and the game growth slows.

Hope the Booster packs are virtual... we've had enough Heromar-only bonuses in AE games...

cyber@ OS would be poor and will have no money source. I dont think they would do that. Lose its third best money source. AQW 1st, ED 2nd, OS 3rd because of second currency

Oh totally! 690% is pretty insane. I got 450% for a week, and at only my normal pace of playing, I made 250,000 gold that week. More than enough to pay for the 2 Legendaries released this week!

Sorry if that was confusing, but I was saying how if we didn't have X-boosts, newer players would be intimidated by the sheer number of battles needed to level up to 20, and wouldn't feel the urge to play as much. And then OS would not gain as many players and the game would be poorer.

Guys, Seriously I think we should stop any and all discussion of the Boosters. We have no Idea if they are even Card boosters, they may very well be character sets. Not only that, at this point nothing else has even been said about them, all that can come of this is disappointment and over-hype for something that may or may not happen at all.

You guys are forgetting that all the cards will be available to both free and sg users. If they were to come out with a booster for SGs then it is of course a shortcut though because boosters are random, the sg user cannot guarantee in drawing good cards, but of course the same booster will be available to free players as well.

The exp stack increase was a bit much, but Nulgath is making sure the gameplay will be much fair since levels are of course just decoration since the main buildup is through cards and teams.

Agreed, it'll be nice to see what is released, when it's released. *remains optimistic*

Meanwhile, the Chief slowly crawls towards the next level...

They're making a good move, I think. SGs before the XP Boost had very little use, and now they have more uses so people will need to buy more. The more income they have, the better our updates will be which in return will be more free in-game items.

People are just being impatient, they're playing an unfinished, unrefined game and see the game for what it is now and not what it will be in a few months.

I really think right now some of us are jumping the gun, I mean Nulgath has been releasing stuff for free players to use and they are powerful to use.

Don't assume that SG players will gain the upper hand in CC because there will be a booster pack that would guarantee their spot on top. So way off on the assumptions that is going on with this.

Right right... totally forgot Mod's are yellow. I got so used to seeing Asuka's Orange that I forgot about that!

250k a week with 450% boost. I can only make around 50k-80k a week without those extra boosts... The difference is pretty ridiculous, but no one's gonna be boosting at 690% every week forever! That would take an insane amount of SGs.

I enjoy the fact that the game has no form of membership
But nulgath has to remember that not every one has the time to spend hunting for characters for months
And not everyone has money to spare to buy sg for short cuts

But major features such as the first artifact
Being sg was not really the best move on his part
That's how a lot of us shall remember artifacts
As a way for them to make money off us

With artifacts coming out most of the spaces will be filled with artifacts that are not temporary exp boosts plus with stats and multiple characters in battle I believe we are getting a separate levels for stats so basically our real overall level.

@Jop, I assume you are a free player yes? You cannot fairly judge without viewing both sides equally. Besides, no free player is going to not want what paid players have, it is how these things work. Claiming that it makes the game "Broken" is not an accurate statement as the ability to access characters does not make you strong in this game, your ability to use the cards you are given is what determines your power.

Honestly, I think they should sell X-Boost for Gold, it would make it more fair. I do agree that x20 Lifetime Boost is unfair. You can get from level 1-10 in about 15 minutes, if not less. Remember though, this game isn't finished and will have lots lots more additions to balance it out.

I still don't understand the reason why the stack was increased to the fact that many of us agreed that the 100% boost was okay.

X-boosts are NOT meant to be obtained by free players. Not everyone has the time to spend weeks on end leveling up, and it is their choice to purchase alt currency and make up for lost time.


@Mondez We are not the only people who play the game. I'm sure a lot of people asked for it.

Honestly, I like X-boost and the uses of Sgs because I am not able to play as much as most people, like a few days ago was my first time actually playing in about 8 updates and I'm really behind in characters, so the 1sg to possess thing, really helps me.
