@above freedom to use builds bring lots of diversity and not being restricted by anything was their original intention for omega.

but yeah I don't want luck controlled I'm just sick of luck being the deciding factor in like 70% of my games... it's not right in the least
do i want it to be a system where you get 3 luck shots a battle? no I want the battles to be more based on skill then the other person
( or me to a lesser extent since my luck is horrid ._. ) getting lucky and winning like I said earlier Luck is needed luck is good in moderation
but when people get loss streaks upwards of 5 plus because there opponent continuously gets lucky in all of the important moments something
is wrong with that picture.

One of the rare agreements between me and ReinIV is this thread.

Sometimes (not always), LUCK is taking control of the outcoming of the battle too much.

I hope the devs reduce the crit, block and deflect chance on the cores because battling is no longer fun when luck gets involved every two rounds..

I'm glad someone actually thinks the same way about luck. Lately I've been fighting lots of players who say that ED is a luck-based game, not strategy-based. Sadly, right now that's true. But why would the devs make it that way? Right now ED is like a card game, except without the gambling. Majority is luck, and the players have only a few tricks up their sleeve which can allow them to win, such as psychological tricks on the opponents (or strategizing in ED). To be honest, I think a PvP-based MMO really should be about strategy, not luck.

These are the few things I'm looking for:
-Halve base block and deflection chance
-Reduce scaling to 3.5 points for deflection per 1%, and increase it to 3.5 points for blocks
-Block damage reduction reduced from 100% reduction to something more like 65%
-Change shadow arts (Who knows why nothing has been done about this skill since its nerf when it was first released)

We should start using non-integral values for RNG %'s. If you understood what I just said, numbers that range between 0 and 1 %.

So what would this exactly apply for? For just the luck factors? Or would it apply for everything including factors that would be normally fixed as well such as the crit chance for Bunker blaster for example?
