 Notice that over the past 3-ish months, Omega has advanced from 1.5.0 to 1.5.8. As we know, if the evolution were following a pattern, the next phase would be at 1.6.0. So, what's happening? Is Omega coming to an end? Please discuss.

I think Penguin means the big, official, no-more-testing-phase release.

 I mean by it's moving to the next phase, as 1.6 would, according to pattern, signify a new phase after Omega.

I don't think it would be a new phase. A new phase typically lasts at least around 8-9 months, and at most for 15-18 months.

@Drangonslayer We doesnt know yet, usually a phase stays 8-9 months like kittycat said.

 Well, it's quite obvious Omega isn't ending soon, but what happens when the game reaches 1.6.0? Or will it go to 1.5.9u and be stalled like that?

I do not think after Omega it will be the "no-more-testing-phase" release.

Everyone thought the Phase after Delta would've been Epsilon. The staff chose Omega because it just sounded cooler. Who knows what they'll name it next.

^Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet.

Yes, I am aware of that but because it is the last letter of the Greek alphabet it does not mean it's the last phase because the staff said they chose that name because it just sounded cooler.

I don't think Omega will be ending so soon, there's still a lot of things that have to fixed and implemented.

 I highly doubt it's coming to an end anytime soon. It's only been 2 months since it was released.

they've spent so much time on omega, i highly doubt that it is gonna end, in-fact i know that it is not gonna end anytime soon :P

I believe that it might be possible for the updates to go to numbers like 1.5.10, 1.5.11, 1.5.12, etc.

Yes, other phases might have ended at .10, but I don't see any need for this pattern to continue; if it doesn't affect gameplay (which it doesn't, of course), then there's no harm letting it continue to larger numbers.

I have to admit that beating legend is halarious etspecially if you aren't lvl cap and free2play with a bad build. But i really feel for you people because spending real money and then practically being cheated on must hurt. But hey atleast i am happy so are F2P.(you can't make every one happy)

We changed from the old versioning system we were using before Omega, which was completely arbitrary and didn't really indicate anything useful.

Now it's 1.[phase].[patch][hotfix] or 1.5.11a (The 'a' indicates a hotfix during the 11th major update to Omega).

I don't think it is since it has only been a 2 or 3 months ,
if anything, the pattern will be expanded or Omega will get a little revamp.
