@beck it would be nice if we had a button that synchronize moves like if we use 2 cat reflexes we see one animation and it does 6 damage it would make farming a bit faster

I agree! And the cards do need bigger energy cost indicators. They are hard to see. I mean it's not a problem for veteran players but new players may find it difficult until they get used to it.

Dang it. Well think of it this way: if you DO give in, you will be reminded that you caved and spent that 1 SG every time you see a Darkon from now on.

Thank you all for your feedback on the first release of the Beta Revolution, and we will definitely be keeping your input in mind as we move forward, but I wanted to stop in and give you guys a bit of information about WHY we added some of the animations to battle and maybe explain why a lot of you thought the game felt so much more like a card game now!

We set about the new design with a few goals, one of which is to make the game FEEL more like a card game. One of the rules we decided on was that cards shouldn't ever "vanish" They shouldn't pop in and out of existence, and should always show movement between locations. This re-enforces the idea that these cards are physical things and gives them weight and presence. Also, the movement of cards also helps make the game "self documenting" explaining what happens when you click on things. Movement and animations linked to actions helps draw eyes where they need to go, and give players, new and old, cues as to where you should be looking or doing. These changes are subtle but important to evolving how the game feels to play.

Looking forward to reading your continued feedback as we move forward though this testing. We do truly design these games with your guys feedback as a central point of consideration and look forward to seeing where this journey leads.

@Axel that is all am saying no one believes my work as much as those who work with me but the new theory i am working on and so far has shown results.
so test it out for me tell me how it works for you.

@rolith that sound nice and good the idea of this release is not to base itself on the present but to help future release wich makes sence this game has recently been in beta phase not even the complete format of it so their are many things to expect you can no actaully say beta revolution would be like getting out of the graphic and works of alpha and now we are really making progress in the work of beta.(yeah no mispelled just alot of run ons)but id o like the idea of all this graphics it doesn't slow me one bit(yay me)

That is nice Rolith, but the cards being crammed together detracts from my enjoyment of the game. It makes it feel cluttered. Making it feel like a card game is a good idea, and I know you were going for the whole "I use my trap magic card to counter your etc. etc." But, honestly it takes away from the experience for me.

As for the pulsating auras on the elements...it just causes too much slowing down on the frames due to it doing it every time a character charges. I don't even wanna try it with the laggest character in the game, Darkon Drago. I feel the game would chug so hard it'd steal my drink.

@Rolith: I honestly love the card concept. It helps differenciate it significantly from AE's other games.

Um... I just lost the 7000 Gold I earned in the past hour when I relogged. What the heck??
I just repeated this same issue. Can anyone see if they have the same problem?

Losing gold when you relog? Yeah I've been getting that issue as well. It is annoying when it says you have 3000 and you drop to 1500.

I'm having the same issue with EXP... TheSage is reporting the same issue. Hmm.

Hey there guys. Man, the BR is beyond awesome! The card arts design are so freaking AWESOME. Now its going to take some time to get used to new interfaces and features.

@Victoria
Oh yeah, new characters are coming soon. I missed hunting and possessing new characters after 2 long weeks of waiting. Now its going to be the third week.

Thx for the info. Yeah, OS is also a card game and focusing mainly on card will allow OS to be truly call a card game.

This paves the way to a new start! Though I expected too much from the release... :/ sorry

And the new interface instills the scary effect of a Barbarian putting up 2000 shield WAY too well ._.

And the Gravelyn-Power is neat

Don't get too stunned just because of the 2000 Shield. Because the damage have increased by 100X too. So, no worry.

There a number of characters in the new card art design. Like the Fire Dragon from the Fireball, Artix from the Holy Strike card, Redemption of Nulgath from the Blessed Strike, Rolith from the Might card, Dreadfiend of Nulgath from the shadowfire , Freezing Moglin from the Freeze card, Vampire Queen from the Life Drain, Celestial from the heal card, Earth Elemental from the Stone Strike and Grimlord from the Void Reflection. I am hoping for all those characters to be release in OS in the future. They look like avatar of the specific card.

He may not be Artix but he is the champion of Light character in OS. His armor look like Artix and the weapon does resemble a bit like the BLoD. Well, at least it is still an axe weapon he is using He is the redemption of Nulgath during the Evil war. I am surprised that he is a Light character and he is one of the top wanted character in my list.

Blessed Strike is still bugged. It still did the attack in disorder. Gonna report it on the Grelim. I hope it will be fix next phase of Beta Revolution though it won't be soon.
