I would really like the Idea of rare cards as long as they are not op enough to were people will abuse them and make it harder on f2p.

On a side note, im getting Tharr today .

...Would anyone else find it funny if Nulgath mocked the Rare Hunters and collectors by releasing a really bad looking character who can only EVER have one card, that card is a mere 100 damage, and then say it foes rare in a week to see if anyone will want it? (Note: No offese to collectors or rare hunters. )

Rare. Hmmph. Confusing terminology. You know, Artix is the only site I've ever seen that uses the term "rare" to mean "limited time offer". In collectible card games, you typically have common, uncommon, rare and very rare cards. There, "rare" doesn't mean the card will go away after a while, it means that it just doesn't turn up very often when buying card packs.

In my mind, something like Xmas Fiend was a limited time offer, and something like Cosoma is a rare encounter. I won't use the term "rare" for characters that are no longer available.

Rare collectors would get it, no matter what. A rare collector don't care about looks or strength, they just collect whatever goes rare.

It's just me and my big dislike for rares :x

Anyway, gl on getting Tharr.

Well if you take a look on the screenie provided on the homepage there is a "beta pack" and "ice pack" both says "Only X weeks left to get it in" so I would assume there will be rare cards.

*high fives* So there's where all my Monk-finding powers went...

I'm hoping that Nulgath will have the same policy towards cards as characters; there can be seasonal rare ones but very, very few perma-rares, and everyone can get them. That would be a fair way to do things.

EDIT:
new rumor (made by me) for tourney reward: An Exclusive Perma-Rare Card! Artwork: Nulgath giving you a thumbs up; Stats: a normal 4 energy for 500-Attack card. "Nice work, Oversouls."

I hope so to, very VERY few cards going perma rare (and I really hope they only make rare cards for special occasions, like weddings and birthdays).

@Beck: Running into any Mishaps? I just ran into ANOTHER Monk! Can I haz Mishap spawn for Monk spawn?

And now I have Blood Ranger! YUSH!! Time to finish lvl'ing Sonja.

I had the exact opposite luck as you Friday! I found 2 Mishaps within 20 min of each other, and then spent 4 hours grinding before a Monk showed up.

Guys something just hit me. I notice that the Xboosts takes up your 'Artifact' spot on the battle screen.

What if it were to be switched should you equip another? For example, you want to find some super rare Fire type creature, and there is an artifact that raises the chance of encountering fire types by some massive percentage. You would have to remove your Xboosts and equip said artifact.

Unless Xboosts are exempt that is.-.

I remember when I was looking for Monk and I encountered only 1 Mishap. I found both of them in under 20 minutes of searching, so I guess I'm pretty lucky. I didn't want to use a SG however, so I didn't manage to get Mishap. I'll try again later, and also for Weteye. I'm guessing he also has a low encounter rate?

Edit: @above, I don't see why artifacts wouldn't stack, as long as the drawbacks for using them are fair enough.

(I haven't read the entire thread yet, so if I've missed something bear with me)

Is anyone else having trouble loading Nightmare Dungeon's third map? Every time I tried to access it, I get stuck at the 100% loading screen.
And I seem to be plagued by only Fire Mages e.e

Yep, you must be very lucky with Mishap. The 3 hours I played at that location I found 0.

Weteye seems to come 1 per 24 hours of gameplay (= 1 week playing 5 hours each day, twice as many on weekend days) for me, so good luck. Sounds like a worthy water creature, although the AI seems to play better with Water Elemental.

Do you mean Map 1? I can only enter Maps 2 and 3, the rest of the time I get stuck at a 0% or 100% loading screen.

This game is freezing way too much. Gosh I am only a few battles away from level 10 and I can't even make that with 10 boosts! D:

What is causing these bugs that i cant seem to reproduce? After getting petrified and frozen 10 times EACH from different characters not a single one of those stun effects lasted longer then the normal 1 or 2 turns.

Probably a logical loop, what might be related to the bug when the player gains an extra turn, and that's why pausing the game fixes the bug.

I think the player's turn gets fused somewhere with the opponent's turn, what is hinted by heal-buff (eg. from Renew) comes before DOT damage.

But of course this is just wild speculation and wishful thinking (one bugfix solving all problem, oh).

Oh yeah first try! Well not first attempt technically. I possessed him on first try when not dying. Never had a chance to attempt possession due to him killing me every other time.
