He probably didn't,
Just because it is getting in-game doesn't mean we should expect new card's,
We should just be glad we might be able to use it to add that 1extra sacrifice or shield card
we wished we had at some point in time,

I say sacrifice because i love sacrifice

I don't think we should expect new cards this week, since this is the start of CC, and they'll want to keep it simple and fix THOSE problems first. Then add crazy complicated cards.

Hmm... Maybe I should customize something besides my favorite character first, just in case stuff breaks.

Honestly guys, just NO. They have been working far too long on CC and we have been using the same old cards for ages.

I for one expect them to release new cards seeing as how this should not be that great of a problem given the amount of time they have worked on it.

Please feel free to give a good response with reasoning as to why we cannot get new cards and I will greatly appreciate this. This is CC's first release is not a valid reason.

It actually is a valid reason,
They may have worked on it for a long time compared to everything else in-game but i think we can settle on the fact
that the time spent was to make sure it was stable.

To be honest really, new card's would be more of a cosmetic update then a new feature,
I'm not saying i wouldn't like to see new card's but it would be better off if they waited on them the last thing Oversoul need's with these freeze bug's and such is another iron hide card, it still hold's bug's today correct?

I don't mind if we don't get any new cards either, don't think I will flip out guys. But anyone should have good reason to expect it. It is that sort of time .-.

It's exactly that. There's so much going on with CC, really, that's what you're upset about? New cards? Why not having it working? I believe that's what everyone at this point wants.
"Given the time" Have you seen the amount of actual coders for OS? O_o There's MUCH to do and so little time. Be a little patient.

@insane not much different than monk.

also on the cc note, I think there will be "new cards" maybe with slightly different effects

or else just upgrades of current cards. like for example a "greater freeze" or an upgraded shatter or the like.

but nothing mind blowingly new.

Have you played with normal Monk? Because if you thought he was good, then yes, Dire Monk is also good.
They are quite similar, and have 2 Ironhides/15 card deck, so they can and will spam 2-4 turns of Ironhides in PvP Duels.

The Dire Monk keeps this ability, and also has increased attack and better energy efficiency thanks to his Sacrifice and Empower. However, he loses his only DoT skill, Cat Reflex, so you'll be hard pressed to win against other Counter Attack/Void Reflection spammers.

Hey everyone!

I see a discussion on whether or not new cards will come out. For me I don't really expect new cards because the stability of the engine must be the top priority over the new content.

@Asuka: I wouldn't have said anything about this issue if Nulgath hadn't stated that CC is actually working (post testing) and with minimal bugs/issues. That means it will work.

Sure, a cosmetic update. Why not just throw all the characters in the back seat as well as other key features seeing as how they are just as important as the cards we use to play a PvP game! D:

Look guys all I am saying is that CC has been worked on for a while, they gave us the 'ok' that is was well worked on and we shouldn't have any issues. Instead of creating and working on the newer characters that have taken place recently, I wouldn't have minded atleast 1 new card to play with. I don't see why new characters can't take a backseat for a very short while to make way for the cards.

@daichi: Nope, everyone just assumes that the cards in those packs are old ones. Nothing new :/

I would loved it if they would have new cards, but let's face it, there is a chance that something is CC will break that the testers were not aware of like for instance the infinite freeze bug in the north.

My reason to why new cards will probably not be released is because this CC release is a way for us to test the system to its fullest to see if it is stable enough for the server or not.

Was a bit late on the matter.

@Mondez: Oh yes, that freezing bug, I forgot about that. Now this is a solid reason, I can understand this. As for CC, they have already tested it so no reason to wonder if it will be stable or not.

Well actually my guess as to why CC has not been out yet is to test it and balance it. They are probably trying to limit what an apprentice form can get in it's deck so you can't just jam it's deck so it's a pseudo legendary.

also if a deck changes with each form, what happens when you evolve a vet or master to the next level,

do the cards equipped cards reset?

@daichi: If anything, I believe the cards will be removed and back to your 'cards' section of your inventory. You would just have to re-customize upon evolution (my theory).

CC has only started being fully tested since monday.... i dont know where you people got the idea the system was completely finished....
