I dont like ice at all and i dont think i will use frost queen after i get the legendary, so she won't be a main. I just know that there's a whole lot of people with arachnophobia.

I have never defeated an Ice type except with a Fire type. I am putting this out there.

EDIT: I always get countered to Hell and back.

@Lemonus: I hope you know OP isn't unbeatable. That would be more defined by the term Uber. What does OP mean to you?

There is no noticeable amount of combos to go with Ice types so clutter is hardly an issue for them. All they do is spam. So the more cards they have the more OP they get.

Except for maybe cosomo, strong neutral types can beat most ice types, at least in my experience. Or, they used to; now that cc is out they might have the offensive capability to break through iron hide.

@necro: Yes, Neutrals do stand more of a chance. But, I could never win, even with the all powerful PL! I kept losing to Snow Lions xD

I only lose to a PL with my Abberant on the same term is if they constantly draw Iron Hides which is what happened during the one match in the tourney.

besides fire types, I enjoy using a helluva lot o dots and pressure attacks to wear down ice types. XD It just gets so brutal sometimes. XD

I don't think pl would be too strong versus ice types, he is not offensive enough to wear them down through their shield. I was thinkng more along the lines of monk and arcane ranger.

Oh is that so? I should try them out and see how I fair .-. I haven't played against Ice types in a while so I am not up to date with the counters for them. They annoy the heck out of me so I try to avoid them.

Arcane ranger can dish out 60 damage in 3 turns with the right setup, aint nobody surviving that.

I agree that neutral don't have enough power to break through Ice, but against one with a ton of shields on both sides, I can tell it would be a very long match compared to ice vs. ice.

Neutral may have Iron Hides and Counter Attacks, but Ice has fast shields, DoTs, and Freeze so a clear advantage over Neutral.

@Mirai: Two horribly wrong points to go on when judging the OPness of Ice. First, you are fighting an AI and second, you are using the best counters to them. The counter in question is none other than a Fire type.

@necro: Wow, that is crazy! I definitely need to get my hands on an Arcane Ranger! D:

@Mondez: I know! That is the exact reason why I couldn't win with PL!

And i fail to see how fire "counters" ice. Isn't it more along the lines of incinerate counters everything?

If we get another tournament at the moment my guess is the majority of the players would either be the one of the strongest four elements from strongest to weakest:

1. Fire
2. Ice
3. Shadow
4. Light

I dunno, Nuetral can be pretty strong in tournaments as well due to all those iron hides, counters, nuetralizes, and Death flows.

When Elemental Resistances come out, Fire counters Ice. And even without it, Ice still stands no chance with Fire whilst other can stand up to them.
