Mercs are commonly know as the tanks of the game, so if you buffed the Hybrid Armor skill to 7 Defense and 6 Resistance (or even 7 Resistance), that's only 3 extra defense in total, but would be a possible good step in the right direction. Know that no one can predict how any change will work till it's in-game for a day or so. Moving the requirement to support for Hybrid Armor was a mistake in my opinion, it pretty much forces Mercs into putting 30 points into support. Look at some of the other passives and they aren't that restrictive: Mineral Armor - Requires Dex Plasma Armor - Requires Tech The other two armor skills of the different classes only require the main things that actually increase the same defenses. An idea for the requirement for Hybrid Armor could be to make it 40 Dex and 40 Tech or something along those lines.
