I have been suggesting for ages that the support merc build be adjusted, but it hasn't changed, so I've got a few ideas to make it more fair which I believe are fully implementable. a) Make Auxillary Strike have a 2 turn warmup b) Cap the damage of Auxillary Strike and Auxillary weapons at 60% of a persons stats, meaning that putting more than 60% of their stat points into Support will not increase their damage any further. This will also encourage them to put a little bit of thought into their build (*gasp* '"how dare they?") c) Make Auxillary weapons have a 1 turn warm up and 3 turn cool down d) Drastically increase the energy cost of AS e) Base the chance of getting first strike on Focus with Support as a tie breaker. This will encourage balanced builds and all but ruin the OP Support Merc build which (imo) should never have been allowed to exist in the first place. Some people claim that SuppMercs are easily countered but the AS damage can easily exceed 75% of a persons lifepoints, meaning that if you heal you are still left with only 25% health, if you dont, then you are dead.
