Basically some core replace strike totally. And can be more affect than strike.
It is better if core has something weakness too. (less damage,deflection block or cost energy. Always 1 weakness at least)
It is good if core/s is weakness too. that making more balance.
Those cores is examples.
No weakness those cores ???



Frost Shards.
Now 100% hit and 100% damage. And destroy 5+5+5=15 energy. Lock energy damage.
(3 rounds) cannot block or deflect.
2 thing is better than stike. 100% hit and destroy energy


Plasma Meteor/Meteor Shower/Jack-O-Fire/and etc similar core/s

110-113% damage. No block or deflection. Lock physical/energy damage.
2 thing is better than stike. 100% hit and more damage.

Chairman's Fury
advanced now 100% hit and 100% damage.Lock physical damage. Steals 25% of the target's rage.
2 thing is better than stike. 100% hit and steals 25% of the target's rage.

The weakness is being able to use it once per battle.

Fast players can use core/s too advanced now. Even core/s is 1 time using.

My todays build using meteor and Chairman's Fury cores. That giving me 2 100 %hit and little boost 1 damage (110%) that giving me advanced most battles.
I need 1 times both core. depend enemy.

stregth 84+32+48 buff---damage 21-26+36/to buff 27-33+36
dex 34+32
tech 21+12
support 44

Primary; celtic cleaver

aux;azrael annihilator P
armor; platinum pride

It is better if core has something weakness too.(less damage,deflection block or cost energy. Always 1 weakness at least)
1 time using is not enough always.

Tank players is underdogs against heavy attacker because heavy attacker gain advantage.(cores) Tank player lost deflection/block advantage
Heavy attacker--------->much bigger damage whit core
Tank ------------------>little bit bigger damage whit core
Rage+core is always good choice.

Heavy attackers advantage+core/s advantageeven more
Core/s give much damage 2 ways 100% hit and 1 time more damage (110%)
Debuff/buff+core/s can be killing combo too easyly todays.

i hoping you understand what i tying to mean.

Seasonal Rare, Promo, Promo, Promo. Not everyone can get such combination, that's first. Once per battle is already a drawback on its own since you cannot loop it unlike Strike (100% damage, always, every turn but blockable). Cores shouldn't have a weakness, by that I mean counterable easily. You can counter many through other cores or skills (i.e. Meteor Shower -> use Reflex/Matrix, FrostBite/Shard -> use Generator or Boosters (IF they come back), etc.).

I do see where you're coming from but they are fine as they are. My only point regarding cores is raging them - I'm quite against it since it's like a free Ultimate; no deflections, no blocks, can be raged and critted if lucky. I've made a thread on it around 2 months ago, probably is somewhere around in ED Balance.

That's the only sentence I need to make a simple judgement.

Sure it would give the game some variety, however, the problem is it'd give the person a rather large advantage than if they were single-use. From what I could understand, you even cited advantages for them. I see no real visible weakness aside from the fact that the attack type (Physical/Energy) is locked.

First off, it would be repeatable and unblockable. Again, a large advantage. Next off, it has added effects like extra damage/rage steal/energy drain. Lastly, it would reduce dependence on skills to deal damage- It would simply be a game of who could spam more cores.

Unsupported.

(Again, this is what I could understand, if you have an explanation, please make it as simple as possible)

I scary only 1 thing now this game. If core/s rising more damage that making fast players too much advantage.
I believing people want more tactic. longer than 3-4 rounds match. Myself i like long battles more than short battles. Short battles no need REAL skill. Long battle you need think what you doing next. That is real game playing.

I accept cores but now some cores is very strong. It is better if core has something real weakness too. I put my build only example. That is heavy attacker. I dont need azrael set every battle at all but of course azrael set is very strong. Basically i need meteor and Chairman's Fury cores, Those is 100% hit. No fear blocks or deflections. Fast players need only 1 time using core/s. Because that support fast playing build perfectly.

My suggestion is this.
Make cores better balance. It is good when core give second option attack. But why that is so much better than first attack. Example strike vs frost shards. Frost shards is much better than pure strike.
Use this much more ------------->Warm up, cooldown, less damage, deflection block, cost energy, 1 time using and etc.
Make less powerfull core/s that allow more tactic and give change play long battle.

*core warm up and cooldowns ???
*If core hit change is 100%. Drop damage.
*If core have more damage than 100% that can be deflection or block and no rage that core. No cant use whit rage
*And etc. Core/s need too something weakness too. 1 time using isnt enough always.
*Im waiting when coming energy cost cores. Those can be better than no energy cost cores.Energy cost core can be low weakness or nothing weakness.
*Nothing weakness can be cost more energy.

My english isnt perfect put try understand.
