Warning: The post you are about to see contains a large amount of negative feedback on the game. First, I would like to respond the obvious responses: "If you don't like this game, don't play it!" or "Quit complaining". Good sir or madam, I am afraid I can't do that. I wish to see this game get better, be a good game because, quite frankly, it is mediocre. There! I said it: This game is mediocre! I don't want it to stay mediocre and so I am expressing everything I believe is wrong with this game in this post, right here right now (and probably in future posts so you people don't forget that I still exist); hopes that people take notice and do something about it. Now, before you even start instinctively responding I suggest you take a small portion of your time to read through my complaints calmly. The First Problem Shall I get started with the most obvious problem in the game? Farming. This game lives off farming and while I will say this game can be a farming based game just fine, I won't say this game this game is just fine with this kind of farming. It is horrible. 606 Fights (that last around 1 minute) for a maxed character? Look, I know getting something maxed should be hard, but this game has 194 characters which amount to 118,170 fights and that number is endlessly increasing. Look, okay, if the game wants to keep its insane amount of grinding, then fine, but there is one thing I can't forgive: It's boring. For a game that seems to be going so far to have farming practices, it doesn't have anything to make farming fun! Repetition? That is what farming is for the most part, but for a game with such high farming focuses it really should consider altering and creating ways to make farming fun. Really, I would always suggest the ability to farm by forming teams to fight hard enemies with large rewards (one other game kind of does that) or make battle conditions that alter the rewards you gain so players get to fight differently every time. But, instead we are stuck with the classic: Kill, reward, repeat. It is the oldest thing in the book and I'm sad this game doesn't try to make it interesting. The Second Problem Characters. You know, we got 194 playable characters and we can agree that out of them those 194, only 30 would see use. Namely, because of superior decks and yada-yada. The rest are part of a "collection" that has no real value aside from personal gain and opening shops. I have yet to see a map that limits character uses so a player is forced to find -and train- a specific character. We train what looks good and we get it over with. This freedom of choice is actually bad because we all have had those times were things become more tedious because you're just doing it. Where is the motivation? I have no real incentive to level to 20, I don't have anything that asks "You have to be X level to participate in this event/dungeon", the only thing I see the game's ability to detect your character have use is to unlock shops! Really? When can we start locking dungeons so only Undead can enter? When can we get split paths started where the player can either be a "small" character to sneak into an area or a "big" character that has to fight their way through? These things matter, they matter! But no, we have 194 characters that are bound to have extremely similar or identical decks with only a few or so actually having optimal decks worthy of use. So characters get left out because they have no good decks and because the game fails too give them a good use. The Third Problem A failed split focus on PVP and PvE. This is a game whose intentions where to have players PvE to then go and PvP. Well, fact of the matter is that PvP is bad. There are level imbalances and an overall lack of need to PvP. PvP doesn't help you farm or gain character. It is also unfair due to power differences. You fight so...you get a statue? Well, that's nice...I guess? Like, seriously? When is PvP really going to have a point in this game? You don't get extra rewards, you don't get characters, you get nothing! There is no PvP hostile dungeon, there is no incentive to PvP and there are no PvP exclusive rewards that open anything. We need restricted tournaments (Apprentice/Veteran/Master only, etc) to keep things entertaining, to make people vary and so we don't stay with the fact that the HH is the undefeated champion! The Fourth Problem Imbalance. Rampant imbalance. Overleveled people with higher HP, better existent decks; rampant imbalance. While there are things being done about it (hopefully), fact of the matter is that this is a problem. Why can't characters just have fixed HP? Increased HP just makes PvE more tedious over time during farming and only creates imbalance in PvP. It is significantly more easier to balance the 194 characters when they start gaining some more things for themselves and that can start with fixed HP values (and base stats in the future). You put fixed HP, we won't need level restrictions for the moment and we won't have imbalance. PvP activity will skyrocket. Seriously, the best way to make PvP active is to make it accessible to everyone fairly. Tl;Dr Farming for a farming focused game is boring. Imbalances existent among characters. Roughly, the important parts of the game are flawed and they aren't being addressed! Thank you for your time.
