@J
Yeah, right now there's too much technicality in this and it's making my head hurt. XD

Overall I'm interested to see how the OS team will handle this and if OS gets a mobile version from the rumors that I've been hearing, it'll make things a lot more fun in terms of gaming accessibility plus OS play on the go would be pretty awesome.

I would like to ask and say some relating to OS and mobile version. Since this is beta there is a chance at any time we can lose our items and stuff like the original AQW mulligan day Rhubarb thing? If something happens don't they have some way that they saved all or most of our data? I heard from a reliable source that AQW can do that but won't unless you actually get hacked(not giving your password or anything like that)

This seems really complicated and beyond my little knowledge. I wish I had more time so I could understand things like this better and do all the other stuff I want to do but I'll still. mostly use my extra time for AE games. Right now many if not most computers are having a pretty difficult time running OS so phones would have a really difficult time to say the least but wouldn't reducing the amount of animation(or any other thing that may reduce lag) reduce a lot or at least some of the problems?

*mental note: remember to try OS on your phone*

Can someone send me a PM when Lightning CC comes out? Because that's when I'm officially coming back to OS.

@aliesterus: I'll be glad to send you a PM. But you might want to rely on someone else to do that and just me as backup because I have REALLY bad memory.

I personally don't hope OS goes to mobile, it would take much longer to get good releases =/

Besides, anybody who would want to play OS on their phone probably already knows how,
It's quite simple, and there's no point in taking a lot of time and effort into something that can already be done.

@Guardmouse
I disagree, Adobe Flash isn't an ideal program to use since it literally causes lag to your computer system. A powerful pc can get lag from playing on Flash. Project Omniverse uses a system I know well that uses pictures as frames instead of the current flash system hence it gets rid of lag.

Also note that phones suck with flash so your kinda saying that playing OS on your phone at the current stage is an ideal option when it really is not since my iPad can get a bit of lag from using huge characters.

Darkon Drago is the most lagfest character in the game and we need something that'll break limitations and do note that not everyone has a good mobile or gaming computer. Yes it would take up a lot of time, but is it worth it? I believe it's worth it because with each new update creates unwanted strain and lag. If OS goes mobile, characters can literally break the walls that held them back and lag would be a problem in the past. You say that it would make updates longer, but the conversion to the phone would revolutionize OS in terms of gameplay value plus it would reach in the mobile market increasing the current playerbase.

As of now, Rolith, Warlic and Nulgath are working on OS and other projects(I don't recall whether it was AQ3D or Project:Omni) so if anything releases might come faster as they finish getting the game exported over to mobile devices.

Remind me, what is Project: Omni? I heard about it earlier today, but I have no clue on what it even IS.

ON-TOPIC: I'm guessing that if releases come out at the speed of light later, then people will whine afterwards about how there isn't going to be a release for a while... Just a guess, but Oversoul is pretty popular now, which isn't a bad thing by any means, but with popularity comes stupid people.

Here you go: I actually just answered that question earlier today

I disagree since there will always be all types of people everywhere but some have more of particular groups.

Have a great day.

@people discussing lag and project omni

I think it would be worth it to decrease lag, make it mobile and all that other stuff. Lag has always been a problem in all games and if AE could really do even more about it since we have so little lag in most servers after this there would be little lag everywhere and hopefully none in most.

Ah, thanks!

Also, to decrease lag would be great and all, but remember that sometimes it's the OTHER person who's lagging. I'm sad to know that my connection has actually had an affect on someone else's game, but that's why I'm not doing PvP 24/7.

Still, lag is, and sadly will always be, a part of online gaming. To decrease it is great, but to eliminate it is impossible without eliminating low-end PC's, which is still impossible.

Your welcome and BTW awesome signature.

ontopic: Maybe they should do server zoning but still have international server(s) like in AQW but the earlier the better that way it doesn't interfere with anyone's communication with friend's and guild's like it did in AQW. If you face a player that lives far away from your country there may be more lag but it is un-avoidable in the end so don't stress yourself it is a game, enjoy life, don't worry and be happy.(weird thing was when I was typing this the TV music channel just started the song "don't worry be happy" by Bobby McFerrin not Bob Marley as you may think)

They might not be able to stop lag for everyone but for some they can stop most or all lag.

QUESTION:Your post also gave me a thought that led me to a question: Lets say the other player has slow frame rate and lagging so will the timer give that person more time?

ANSWER: Not to my knowledge. It either runs fine on their screen, or it skips. Either case, same time. The only effect this has (and this happens to the person lagging mostly) is that they may freeze the game. In PvP I believe this is fixable, but in PvE you must refresh the game and re-log.

Asuka: Well at least you can play. I'm still having that one issue with OS, so I'm kinda waiting for Project Ommi to kick in and hopefully fix that.

I am really looking forward to project omni, it will finally let me play OS while watching flash based videos/streams. It will also let me play more OS, which i really need to do. (Completely unrelated: i have 9 lv 20s and i only need xmas fiend, tharr and templar to complete my legendary collection.)

Is Dire Monk worth grabbing?
I'm planning on training my Monk to level 20. And with my 5 Xboosts, it takes like... A REALLY LONG TIME. So, I want to know if it's worth it.

^Its abilities are better than the normal Monk, but... I mean, it's really up to you. With Neutral CC it might not be worth it.

I'm kind of disappointed that CC is providing an incentive to NOT evolve characters. It is sort of contradicting the game I have found myself in too many situations pondering whether I should actually evolve a character o.o

@99: If you take CC into account, the only thing that is blocking you from getting a mock Dire Monk is that Sacrifice. But, it is one of the cheaper SG characters. It is worth it if you don't mind losing the 20 levels I would say.

@below: Well I didn't say I had a problem with all my base characters. Just some. But don't base characters have less cards? I wasn't paying much attention to deck sizes as I am mostly training nowadays but usually new cards get added onto base decks upon evolution. Also, I think what he meant when he said that was being able to win through skill and not technical advantage. Just like how Labyth was capable of winning with several weaker characters and how you have won with Earth Fairy and even me with Shadowdance all against much more powerful foes.

@j Well, if you HAD to evolve characters to be good at the game, it would go against Nulgath saying that even a little Kitten apprentice could take down an Archfiend if played right. And generally speaking, higher evos have less cards in their deck so it's actually more beneficial to use CC with them.

Is Fresh Start part of the Water Series? I looked at the homepage, but I didn't see it on the wiki. I just want to check.
