Of coarse you should still beat them, only when the devs create something so outrageously stupidly unbalanced like the azreal weapons people say they can't beat it with old stuff. (Even if many people can)


The fact that players are saying " Oh this isn't that unbalanced I can beat it with past gear" Is reason enough to know the game is horribly balanced, when the balance of a new item is perceived as the ability of something old to beat it were by if something old can beat it its balanced...... (This should not be the case)Clear evidence of power creep.

 1.This is NOT a dress up game, all we care about is battles, pve is almoast inexistant and there arnt any other feautures, so why would I pay for look?
2.They are some promos they sell in game: bots and new war weps, without metioning that all promos in omega are coming back the year after for credits too.
3.And that would be balanced?Basically you want requirments to come back, lol.

Actually it is now since all the stats are the same. I bet Non-variums are delirious that everything is fair with no enhancements and plus; all the same stats. If everything has the same stats, that means there is only one choice, pick a weapon we like best!
Statement proved! Before it wasn't a dress up game! Now it is!

I will definitely say it is a dress up game starting from Omega till now and so on!

 It's a dress up if we look at coreless items and using in-game cores. If you buy an item that comes with a core, it can still fall under dress up but not exactly no, especially if you look at locked cores. Although, I managed to find a balance between looks and power back in Delta so it's just easier to go for looks now.

Although, calling the game to be a dress up is also wrong. Basically, you're saying that all the game is about is looks, otherwise no one cares about your stats or cores. Dressing up is one of the aspects of ED now, but not a main one. It's still heavily PvP but you can use any item you want thus go for looks as well without having any sort of drawback. If ED was a dressing up game, would that make our looks superior to stats in PvP? Can I win with my looks? Are they beneficial to me in-game, as much as stats are?

 When you pick a weapon, do you pick the one you like or any other random weapon in the game?

 I pick the one with a core, unless it's gotten for free (reward, code, etc.) then I will get core-less. Don't see how it matters. Dressing up game means it's all for looks, which ED is not because it has PvP and your petty looks won't help you fights. It's one of the aspects of the game but not a main one.

Not a dress up game? The moment they made all items the same power wise is the moment the game became a dress up game. Plus being able to add cores to the items? that a dress up within a dress up big time.

@ remorse

I can agree with you with there being no incentives with this war. Look at frostland and the infernal war. We had missions, a rising war rank and other cheevos we could gain yet this war is nothing more then daily fighting like we do every day of the week. Nothing has changed except for flags.

 Legion is ahead. Yay! Even though I haven't played for the whole day (Being truthful). Sorry legionnaires if I disappoint you but I just find the game way too boring.
