Basically, my post is repeating Ronin's post, but differently.

I have a request.

Gabriel is about to get killed (and/or mightily stabbed) unless she gets the heck out of there post-haste. However, I cannot post about her doing so until Xax posts. I am fine with waiting a bit, but if you guys could do your best not to set Gabriel's location in stone, both she and I would appreciate it. If it helps, she plans to fly to the roof as soon as her attack on Xax goes off and Is'ira and Meoden close in, but you don't have to say that.

This is all assuming Xax doesn't post before anyone else - if he does, please eat this post burn this post feed this post to your dog this message will self-destruct in ten... disregard this message.

Nine...

(Ahmigawsh, three whole pages, and I've started two in a row. This probably means I am too chatty and should talk less. shutting up now.)

I am collapsing into bed. I have a post almost finished entirely, which also needs to be vetted by Micosil given our collaboration agreement tomorrow and plan to post by the evening. Hopefully. For now, I need sleep.

This is a standard service disclaimer to point out that I have not interfered or dictated any action of Scylla's beyond that which has been priorly agreed upon for the collaborative effort between Micosil and I. Even then, aside from the assumed nature of what those agreed on actions would result on Kieran's side of things (namely, that the comment is acknowledged insofar as Scylla's prompt movement, and the use of his shield for a boosted vault), I have also not dictated exactly how she has done so. This IC post, furthermore, was vetted by Micosil before being put onto the board.

This is the relative freedom I enjoy in this particular collaborative style, which gives each their own full measure in describing how their character fits on any cooperative effort. For all I know, Scylla may triple gainer flip onto the shield and vault off of her hands in the end. I don't even know, yet, if she dodges or gets clipped by rock shards, even!

As usual, logs of our discussion and the terms of our agreed upon elements can be furnished by request, if necessary.

Hello there ladies and gentlemen! (Are you ready to rock?)

I just realized I've been lurking here but I never posted to say hi and all that stuff polite people do. So there, hi and stuff.

Also, I posted with what is my best attempt up to date to behead someone with my foot.

Edit: Yes, Ronin has full authorization to do what he did, it is all fine, we all agreed to it before, standard disclaimer.

Behead with your foot? From what I read, the shot was for the torso. I'm prone to misreading, so I'll double check. And for those concerned for Is'ira's health (absolutely no one) Is'ira will probably survive this dual attack, although Scylla's foot may be a little worse for wear. (Who doesn't love Greek Mythology names?)

I've realized how underwhelming Is'ira is compared to everone else. Virtually the only attack that could be used more than once is her basic Light Shot, and I'm not ready to use Orb just yet. She's going to have to survive on acrobatics and clever thinking for now.

Okay, I believe I ought to post soon. So many things to think of! Will I obey Ronin? If so, a collab with Embrace the Darkness might be a good idea. If not, I suppose I could also attack Is'ira, but that'd be more than slightly unfair for her. Naw, not really into that idea. I think collaborating with Embrace the Darkness sounds best, if possbile. If not, I'll just make my way towards him and have another pitifully short post....

Did I just post my train of thought? Hm.

So, ETD, waddaya say? Collab or no?

Oh, and does anyone have a map of the cellar? If we had an editable map of the cellar, we could avoid positional mistakes. Perhaps a timeline would also be good, to be able to check in which order things happened, so that posts don't get time messed up. Plus, I suppose having a common update would be nice. I'll be back in a bit with something similar but not really to what Arthur did in the Sky Arena's OOC.

Kieran is currently attacking Is'ira
Scylla is currently attacking Is'ira
Eyra is sort of standing around doing nothing as of now, but will be soon heading towards Meoden.
Gabriel is in a fight with KJ, whether or not that will stay like that is not really known as of now, seeing as Meoden and Is'ira were trying to kill her. I think.
Meoden is attacking Gabriel, I believe.
Is'ira was attacking Gabriel, I think, until she got attacked by Kieran and Scylla, whether or not she will engage in three-way combat or break off from fighting Gabreil is not yet known.
KJ has not posted in a while, so we don't really know what he's making of the whole fight. He should still be fighting Gabriel, but what with being ganged up on by Is'ira and Medoden, I'm not sure what he's going to do.
John the Janitor is no longer participating. He probably slipped and fell on the steps on his way down.

I think that's it. If there are any mistakes I've made, please correct me. I'm going to start making these summaries regularly. If it doesn't help anyone else, it certainly helps me keep track of things.

Tdub, the head connects to the torso. Hitting her torso hard enough that the head can't follow will also end up beheading her, don't you think? :P But no, that won't happen, don't worry. I thought I ended up aiming for the head, turns out not.

Also, underwhelming's fine - my first character in this arena was basically cannon fodder, and I didn't realize until he went through the meat grinder. Besides, you're fighting hard counters to mages. Put up as good a fight as you can, keep it real, and remember you have allies to distract us - just like what we did when you attacked Gabriel :P

A map, you say? I can make a map in Google Docs that anyone can edit! Here you go. Thus far it contains Gabriel and the doors. I will add more people in a moment.

Forgot to mention: yes, as far as I can see, your summary is accurate, Legend. Everyone is attacking me or Is'ira or is on the verge of doing something else but isn't actually there yet. Gabriel also accepts the nickname of Gabi, Gabby, or Gabe. (She had a weird childhood.) Feel free to use any of those nicknames if typing her full name gets old, or to make up your own!

I'm assuming Scylla's attack will be hitting Is'ira first? I'm trying to work out exactly what Is'ira will do, and I need to know how long in between the attacks of Scylla and Kieran. If It turns out Kieran's will hit first, or that they hit at the same time, my plans will have to change a little.

That is how it is intended via how it is written, so yes, Scylla's first. The interval would be *extremely* short between attacks, on the order of maybe three seconds at most. Possibly less. The joys of a combined assault.

Also of note, given how its picking out a phrase apiece out of each post, is that the attacks are not both crossing Is'ira in the same way. Scylla's is from her left to right, and Kieran's leg is arcing from his right to left. I don't know if this small detail may be relevant to your current ideas in mind.

we gotta talk. The balls should be spinning just outside of his halberd's range and should hurt, but will not penetrate metally armor

Okay, I plan on blocking the attacks with a large Light Shield, but was planning for Kieran 's attack to hit. I'm bouncing different ideas around in my head, and I needed to know the timing. After jerenda posts, I'll need to speak with Micosil about what would happen if Scylla were to collide with the shield in midair. What I think I'll go with is Is'ira, being inexperienced in combat, notices Scylla flying at her and forgets about Kieran. After a satisfying "thump," she puts down her shield and get kicked in the knee, which will definitely hurt. The problems are in details such as a counterattack, what happens to Scylla, timing, and various other variables that are making this post very difficult to write.

Posting soon. The relevant half is done... can't figure out what I'm doing with the "move forward and kill things" half. Aside from moving forward and killing things, of course.

Alternatively, the shield simply might not cover that far down low, given its directed towards an attack from an aerial opponent. Either way, its your call, just if that's what you're thinking OOCly, you've got a wealth of actual options to pursue it.

Let me know if you need anything from my angle, I'll be glad to help and/or vet things at least insofar as Kieran is concerned.

@Ronin

Which pillar were you next to before attacking Is'ira?
Seeing as I was there, and there was some confusion on my half as to where you were, it would be much appreciated.

You know, updating the map and stuff.

If the entrance is our reference point and looking into the arena, he went to the closer pillar on the left side. Ironically, according to a discussion Jerenda and I had, I technically *could* have referenced Gabriel given that she would have rolled in front of me at one point before the rest of her up-down-left-right-dodge-front-back crazy movements. (Joking, Jerenda!) Not RIGHT in front of me, but all things are relative like that. My post, however, was already plenty long enough, so I didn't think I could spare the additional positional reference.

tl;dr - On Jerenda's map of *current* positions, I would've been along the opposite arc of the pillar from where KJ is indicated at the start of my movement.

Assuming things as stand, that should put you with an easy shift into direct line of sight to a majority of your potential targets, should you choose to ignore the growing alliance's potential utility. I do not know precisely where Is'ira was intending to wind up at, per se, and every positional reference I could make as a result is both relative to her AND just ambiguous enough to work regardless of where Tdub wanted her to be, I think.

Is'ira is eight feet left of Gabriel. That may change in my post tomorrow, depending on jerenda's post, but it is a straight line from Meoden to Gabriel to Is'ira, I believe.

EDIT: I added Is'ira to the map.

Re-edit: I'm probably not going to lose power, but we're having severe thunderstorms here, so there is a SLIGHT chance I won't be able to post tomorrow.

I apologize to anyone who doesn't want to know this, but Gabriel deals with projectiles, so I made a List. If you do want to know this, here you go! I will add these things to the Map after I post.

Projectiles still in Motion (?) in Cellar
Gabriel:
7 daggers (target: everywhere)
1 dagger (thrown at Eyra by Is'ira)
Erya:
1 harpoon (returned to sender)
Gabriel:
1 spike (bounced off KJ's abs)
Meoden:
Shards of rock (flying towards wall-with-door)
Is'ira:
1 light shot (will miss M and G, maybe reflect off mirror behind M)
Kieran:
1 Scylla (aimed at Is'ira)
KJ:
Head-lightning-globe-thing (defensive)
Spinning metal orbs (defensive)

Unmoving Potential Weapons (?) in Cellar
Gabriel:
1 dagger (dead center)
Is'ira:
2 light bolts (burst on roof)
KJ:
Lightning arms (hit roof, probably inactive)
Gabriel:
2 daggers in roof near door
2 daggers (nearest pillar)

Note: most of this is probably not accurate. For instance, most of the daggers Gabriel threw initially are probably not still in motion.

I'm somewhat regretting not being here and causing the floors to be super slippery in addition to having ragarangs, bars of soap and more flying around as well. XD

Curse you RL!!

Amusing read though :P

The light shots on the ceiling burst on impact. They aren't anything one could pick up and throw, although the one that will bounce off the mirror could go anywhere.

=D I aim to please. Scylla makes a wonderful projectile. Edited to account for that, Tdub, and thanks. (Gabriel can't pick up the light shots anyway, they're insubstantial, but she can definitely get hit by them.)

Posted! I realize that Gabriel flying around up there makes a tempting target, and when she moved over the top of everything to the pillar someone probably would want to take a shot at her. I tried to compensate for that by writing in Xax's automatic defensive lightning thingy and I hope that takes care of anyone who feels cheated because they wanted to stab me and didn't get a chance.

I'll leave it up to Embrace, Legend, and Xax to decide who the rockalanche hits. It's kind of moving in a curved fashion that really defies all laws of physics and is impossible without interference - instead of hitting the wall it decided to turn and try and hit one of you. Therefore: magical shenanigans. The probability that it will hit KJ is statistically higher than the probability it will hit anyone else, but not by much.

Other clarifications of note: I don't remember who was in that corner, but the weaponry from Gabriel's initial attack is coming along for the ride. Also there are two daggers precariously balanced in the ceiling just above the door. If the rockalanche gets close enough, it'll probably jar them loose to land on somebody's head.

Kieran has been nicknamed. "Shirushi" means "Symbol" due to the tattoos he has all over his arms. Ask if there's something I forgot.

Also Xax had my permission to write about Gabriel's movement and subsequent attack in his last post.
