You can purchase the Taurus from the shop though its too expensive. You can also train minotaur to Taurus and it cost cheaper to evolve than the Taurus(bought) but it will take some time to level up to 20 unless you have 20 x-boosts. Either way, there is an pros and cons so I hope this will give you a clearer path.

If you feel inclined to buy soul gems you could just buy Taurus. he does seem expensive, but buying 20 lifetime boosts is far more expensive.

@Darklore but 20 x-boosts is very quick way to save SG and time by not spending SG on shop characters, but rather just train them to the level they evolve at, so it works on all characters.

I won't say that you are wrong. Darklore make a point that 20 lifetime boosts is expensive and that, buying SG shop characters will be more cheaper and faster than using 20 x-boosts. BJEBLE also make a point that 20 x-boosts will to level up characters faster and evolve them without buying SG shop characters which is cheaper.

Overall, I would say it depends on how we decide to use our SG on SG characters that can be purchased from the shop or evolve.

This is the option for non 20 x-boost users:
If you want to do it the easier and faster way without wasting time, buy it from the shop. If you don't wish to use so much SG, then train and evolve it.

This is for 20 x-boosts user, if you have 20 x-boosts, you can choose to do either way.

Saving up more money is important so you can spend some money for more SG package.

What's the second fastest pikeman variation to level up? I know the shadow Pikeman comes in first but what is second? Getting to pikeman commander or pikeman general? I've slacked off for ages never training them. Kind of ironic given that they're free. Except the sentry lord evo though.

I guess Pikeman Commander because Pikeman has two more 500 attacks than Merc Vet, but their cards are otherwise the same.

And what about Ice? Ice Queen or Jack on Christmas?

I haven't played as Arcane Ranger, but she doesn't seem that great. The big problem with dual element characters is how often they can draw a card from their secondary element before they charge that element so it's useless. I would go with Pumpkinlord if you're sure you want one or the other. Jack Frost is better than Ice Queen in my opinion, because he is more defensive and that is the way ice characters are meant to be played. Ice Queen's Shatters don't mean much if she can't defend herself long enough to make them do damage.

Don't wait for PL or Sprout. PL isn't the BEST Neutral but it's not worth it. My personal favorite is Monk for the Neutral.

PL wouldn't be worth it as of now because more neutral characters such as Orc Chieftian, Taro and Thrax can outdo PL with their neutralize and Death Flow. So, I would say you should go with the new neutral characters instead of PL since he cost 10 SG to evolve but he is no longer that worth it.

Jack Frost is both defensive and offensive so he is a good choice. Frost Queen have lots of shatter and she lack of shield which is her disadvantage. But with so much shatter, she can use it to kill the opponents quickly as she lack of shield. With the help of freeze, it will help to stun the opponent twice while the shatters will deal lots of damage. This is the advantage for Frost Queen though it require time to deal that much damage unless using freeze. To cover up Frost Queen's lack of defence, you can use Ice CC shield to fix this problem.

I hope this should give you clearer guidance.

PL does have a lot of cosmetic attacks though. He's got very unique attacks. Plus PL is seasonal. should get him while you can. Check out oversoul daily on YouTube for animations for PL. They're awesome.

In terms of animation, PL is very unique and I do like it. But what's more important is PL's deck. He doesn't have neutralize which is his disadvantage as his deck are cost effective.

He is one of few, if not, the only characters that has attack cards no lower than 5. It would only take a maximum energy charge to use his 5-hit combo. Costly, but still a great character to collect.

Yeah. I would say each character have their own strong and weak point. To me, all of them are a great character for me to collect. I would love to keep collecting more new characters! The VKDR(Void Knight Dragon Rider), archfiend class character and Bloodblade of nulgath are the next character on my wanted list to collect especially the VKDR.

@sonic get monk its better than both of those chars or taro. Taro is like pumpkinlord but better, but if its only between arcane ranger or pumpkinlord choose arcane ranger it can be deadly with cc

It will cost him 12 SG but it will be worth it since he got Death Flow and Neutralize. That will cover up his energy efficient.

Um... I have a small question.

I've leveled my Void Incarnate to 10. Which evolution would you guys recommend? The Shadow Void or Flesh Void?

 I would say Flesh Void IMO he has better art for his character it's also free to evolve into him while Shadow Void costs 10SG

Easy. Go with Flesh Void. The Shadow Void character is very expensive (10 Soul Gems!) and not very special in terms of attack and defense.

If you feel like you want to spend the SG's on a good Shadow Character, opt out for the following characters instead:

  • Darkon Drago (6 SG's to evolve from Darkon or you can spend 12 and buy the Legendary version from the Character Shop)
  • Necrosis Dezgardo (Free)
  • Arch Lich (Free)
  • Blood Ranger
