God I hate luck cores :[.

Hope it's just additional effects

not like 85% dmg and like 5% stun or 5 dmg poison or reduced stats o_O.

Guess we must wait and see ;]

So the Dread War is featuring 2 promo packages? That's quite nice and it's actually good because this new promo package might make some people stop using the Azrael's gear. Like for the past 10 months, it's the same design so you get more items.


The Weapon
The design of them is like something that came out of Halo (it's a Science-Fiction game). Doesn't really match the designs of the other promo package so this stands on it's own. Because of this, it will not look the same as the other promo package's Weapon and this gets away from the dress-up game.
It does have the Halo touch (or I should say, the alien feeling) to it. Maybe that's why it is designed that way so that it matches the purpose of the Core.

I don't really advise people to buy this straight away after the update. You don't know how good it is so you should wait until you see how other people use it.


With this Core, we know there is definitely life out there in the universe. For Dravax... well yeah, just needed a confirmation. Maybe Charfade is an alien. It might even attack you if you use it because it's unstable.

What exactly does the core do?

I've had enough of some players. In-game, they call me "noob", telling me to read the DNs about the effect, when I tell them not to purchase until it is announced. What is on the DNs is purely a description, why can't some people understand that?

Hasn't been itemized yet..
So, no one can actually now what the core will do yet. (except for testers/staff mems ofcourse) ;)

Why isn't there anyone to confirm whether this new promotional package will return next year or go rare? Wars never return unlike seasonal events, so is there any exception?

I truly hope this will be addressed in due course, because this is the deciding factor as to whether I purchase it or not... Please answer me if possible. Thank you.

 I'm thinking about waiting and observing before switching alignments, just in case I switch and legion gets reinforced. After the war's over, no matter what though, I'll switch to Exile.

A sudden though occurred to me, but the new aux cores may overpower support builds and glass cannons because it just brings an offensive core to an aux, which has never had one before, and look at all the glass cannon complaints coming up.

Neither are we, i mean be killed everyday and still get up with no penalty, even recieving credits...we aren't mortals...neither humans.It would've been more logical if instead of reaching 0 hp you would reach 1 hp and lose...

exploding penguin: I think the devs purposely put the core on an aux so that this 'op glass cannon problem' doesn't happen. Think about it. Currently, most of these builds are effective because of the strength of their debuffs in malfunction and smokescreen. Shields are ineffective because of the azrael auxiliary. Replace that auxiliary with this new one and shields become effective again. I only fear the recent strength bloodmage fiasco.

 I think "Char" is a planet in starcraft 2 , a Zerg based planet.

Im not too sure , its been a while since i played.

 Maybe the gun doesn't have a core, but it's just there as a nice artwork addition, or maybe it was originally intended to have a core but the devs ran out of ideas and/or time?

So far all I've seen is the Core for the Auxiliary so I don't think that there is going to be much of a Core for the gun.

I wouldn't mind summoning monsters from AQ and DF that would be cool. its soo sad I didn't wanna be in a legion guild since the beginning I kinda boycotted the war since it started cause I was in legion but now that we get a chance to switch I will goto exile and never change my alliance but if there is something I don't agree with exile in I will just not participate. HOW can you not side with the side that is fighting for freedom!! FREEDOM IS SOO MUCH MORE FUN!!

 @neo_manni: Who knows why players like legion? Some just like to role-play as the villian in games.

Yea, I never wanted to be in Legion either, I got stuck because I was just chilling in a friend's fac and there was little warning given to getting permanently stuck.

I don't see why people would just switch alignments to win the war anyways, they'll probably only get a cheevo out of it anyways (honestly not worth a high varium price).

Why can't the devs release more useful information about the promo rather than screenshots showing stuff we aren't clear about? People need time to get variun you know...
