Jekyll, it only takes 5 seconds to buy varium. :P

Anyway, I think the strategy in the screenshots are that they make you crave for more info.

^I dont purchase varium through credit card. I need to actually buy a card, then cash it in for varium. I'm not even going out on the weekend.

^Agreed. There are a few unaddressed points, and only after they are answered will I make my decision:

1) Does the gun have a core?
2) Will the promo return next year, or go permanent rare since it's a war set?
3) What does the aux core exactly do?
4) Is the aux core completely random and luck based?

Hope they will be settled in due course.

 Hm. I will have money and if both items have a core, that'd be good since we have major luck of Auxes and Guns with cores. But I don't see it as necessary if I can wait for the cores and have over 9K Varium left from Omega package (including refund - total of 15K Varium with the promo). So I don't see a need to get it, better wait it out for in-game cores. On the other hand, if I was low on Varium then the incentive to get it for me would be much higher. Damn. <.<

i think ill pass and wait for a cool armor (hopefully omega armor)

the gun in the promo pack does not have a core, only the AUX does.

I'm hoping there's information that the devs have withheld from us about the promo at this point. If its really just aux damage with a different animation, I will be incredibly disappointed.

I don't think I can play this game anymore. Skill doesn't matter at all. These blocks and deflections and crits and these luck based cores are driving me insane! Also why does everyone use the same build? It's no fun at all.

The answer to the last question is this. To the mass W/L ratio > creativity. If it ensures that they get a decent win rate they will use the same builds that are known and won't give a hoot who cares. As for the luck based cores well that is what omega brought to equalize the playing field in exchange for the old enhancements.

 @Mother1: It's more like Wins > W/L Ratio > creativity. I'd have to say I'm between W/L Ratio and Creativity.

I find it pretty amusing how they release more promos rather than real game content. Especially if you remember how people complaint in the past about too many promos, and the devs made another empty promise to pretty much only release special holiday promos such as Halloween/Christmas/Valentines etc. etc...

 I dueled someone with the promo today. He activated the core and I could see nothing coming out of the gate. (Twice)

I guess only the caster can see the animations.

at first i felt the same as you
its because you got it on faster animation drag the thing in the option to smoother animation ull see
