-Well, no sane person's going to add 5 counter attacks to any one character.
-I thought an earth/water would come first, due to the problems with making something heal AND giving them a four turn 2:1 thing. And freeze too. And then someone went and made this deck ._. I think ice would be around the top of the list for elements that would benefit most from gaining a fresh start and healing.

Are you Traiden according to TFP?

On-topic: Xmas Elf is truly one of the most powerful character that is even on par with lots of SG characters. Not to mention is a FREE character. Any player will use this free character to own the PvP. But it doesn't mean Xmas Elf is unbeatable, just very difficult with the amount of defence she have. With Healing Spring covering up HP and 2 shatter being her key offensive card, Xmas Elf is really one tough character. Nulgath is really extremely kind to release Xmas Elf as a free character to every single player. Oh well, this is what make OS balance between free and SG characters which is one good thing.

Honestly, the higher level the Xmas Elf is, the stronger they actually get. A lvl 20 Xmas elf to me, is the definition of an unstoppable force. I like the idea of Shadow Vs Ice, as Shadow you'd be able to rush down the Elf before they can build up enough charges to abuse
Shatters/shields/heals, but at level 20, that's litterally impossible unless you start with 3x Poisons at 4th without getting frozen. Other than that, I'd imagine the only other element to be able to verse against Xmas Elf effectively would be a legendary Light character.
Though it's harder for a light character to maintain shields/healths while dealing damage, unlike the Xmas elf.

I'm not sure whether to level her up for a while, I know she'll get nerfed at some point. There is no way that they'd leave Xmas Elf like this, she is just too good to be true in my opinion.

She is on the more defensive side of things, especially with Iron Hide, but I doubt she could muster enough damage to finish off the Xmas Elf.
Her Counter Attack card is completely made useless against Xmas Elf due to Elf's ability to simply dot you up with shatters, which ignores Counter Attack. That makes 1 card in the deck completely useless against an Xmas Elf.
I think Queen Aegea would be able to sustain well against an Xmas Elf, but I don't think she can do enough damage to the Elf at lvl 20.

True but only the draw of the cards and the ability of the players' technique in using Queen Aegea well may help to win against Xmas Elf at level 20 but it won't be easy task. Rather, it will be an extremely very long battle between Queen Aegea and Xmas Elf due to both being too defensive. Also they have healing which pretty much going to stall the battle way longer than I can even imagine!

@Death Add a Corruption to her deck and she can be considerably better though with the fix to greater heal she might be a little worse.

I could see Corruption being a great asset to her, though at the cost of a Iron Hide since Corr costs 10 Neutral charges. Queen Aegea might as well be the best response to Xmas Elf, but thats majorly dictated by her
ability to use the Neutral charges with Neutralise to her advantage. She can be very versatile just by putting Corruption in her deck. You can go with a defensive sort of deck by just keeping Corr away from your deck and use Iron hide, or other way around (except you cant remove iron hide from her deck ofc)

She still have 5 shields to cover up her defence, so its still safe to use Corruption and we can still use Neutralize to gain another 10 Neutral energy.

Traiden/Lucky told me already. :D Honestly, I am not surprise one day Traidan might be one of the forumite but never expect it to be today. xD Its nice if more of the players we know in-game will be new forumites too so OS forum will be more lively than usual and hopefully older forumites will return. :D

everyone who recognizes me will know that i used to use frost void, one of the original sg evos, (i.e. shadow dance, katana zon, etc.) when oversoul first began, these were the coolest chars in the game, and i loved frost void because he was th first ice character, and it was before the def cap, therefore making him and the barbarian the strongest characters in the game, then the def cap came and they became the weakest chars in the game, and when all the new chars started coming, the originl sg evos became weaker and weaker, so i believe all of the old chars should get new legendary evos to get revamped with better cards

It's not as simple as you make it sound like. Nulgath would have to make a ton of legendary art. They'd need to code it etc. There is no need for compensation. Go pick up the xmas elf and call it a day.

@thedeathangel they already made over 200 characters, and they are going to make alot more, so why not add the legendaries to the list? and they dont have to worry about art,they have revontheus! one of the best artists in artix entertainment!

How about switching Xmas Elf's 2 Springs to 2 Refreshes? Thoughts?

We're trying to limit the number of Legendaries, and also nowadays Rev is part-time Oversoul, at best. He's helping out on the EpicDuel team.

@Beck: Yeah, I suggested that we replace the healing springs with Refreshes 1 page ago. Refresh just makes more sense in Xmas Elf's deck, while not being too much healing for the opponent to handle.
It's probaly the best replacement in terms of the water element healing imo.

Yup yup, Refresh works with shields, which Ice characters have, yet it's limited so she'd be less OP.
I'd support either that, or ditching Freeze.

How can you forget me? :( Most of the forumites you mentioned were still around except for Basicball. Some came back a few weeks ago and same original OS forumites returned and post a few times when there is a release.

The older characters do need their deck to be re-constructed to be even with the newest characters. This will ensure the new player won't waste their SG on older SG characters they felt are not worthy.
