I've thought of this idea before and really liked it, but the roleplay forums I was on previously did not take any interest whatsoever in it. Considering a few people here like HeroSmash, I figured I would give it a shot. But only if enough people would be interested in such an idea. The basic premise is that we're all ordinary people (a few exceptions can be made, like you're an alien or something). The first few posts will be describing our origin stories, or how we obtained out powers. We will also introduce your main villain, or arch nemesis, and how he came about (unless you want to keep it a mystery. Afterwards we will all come together and form a superhero team to combat a deadly threat. The RP will advance as a comic book does. Every post will be labeled accordingly: "The Soldier - Issue #1: All for Nothing" These labels will be above each post in the RP. During a collaboration (two or more players making a single post) it will be like this: "Special Edition #1: The Soldier and the Snow-Hawk" And a collection of issues will be a whole Volume, such as: "Volume #1: Origins" I've yet to determine if I want this to be a made-up world, like HeroSmash, or take place in the real world, because I do not know the rules on all of that. Throughout the RP you can collaborate and create new superheroes and villains and hopefully one day we'll have a decent cast of characters in some epic superhero battles. Edit: More Info: And it will have several storylines, just like comic books, not just a single one. Also you will play as your Hero(es) and Villain(s) when the time comes. You will roleplay as your villain and fight another hero, just as someone else will roleplay as a villain and fight your own hero. So there will be some Hero VS Villain PvP moments (many, actually).
