Hey,

I wanna complain about the fact that you need 50 YETI PELTS with a low drop chance for only 2k credits? This takes a very long time and 2k credits is not much,
I think this mission and also the other side mission should be like 20 yeti pelts? 50 is just too much :/ What u guys think? Oyea, the mission name is : Mother And Child.
I just killed the Frost Demon (35) 10 times, guess what? 0 pelts dropped, And ive to go to 50 pelts, I just give up on this ...

Idk if I had to post this in EpicDuel Balance Or EpicDuel Suggestions sorry if im wrong.

Ok when this mission was first made, it wasn't like this. It was originally worth 1000 battle token before they removed battle tokens. If you had did this mission before the exchange was done and got the reward you would have gotten 10K credits in exchange instead of 1/5 of that.

But on another note these missions were never made to be easily in the first place for non-variums. They made them hard so people would use the varium shortcut to get to the prize. It wouldn't make any sense to have a varium option for this if the missions were easy. The concept for these missions were work hard and get the reward, or use varium as a shortcut and get the prize at the end.

But have to ask one last thing what is the suggestion for this topic? While you made the right choice in putting this here, where is the suggestion at? I don't see it within your complaint.

The suggestion was to make it 20 pelts, also Ive another problem, in the past i upgraded my Energy yeti to max, I sold that yeti, now i wanna max it again but i cant cuz those missions are already completed, know what I mean .. And ok i agree with you but tough, 50 yeti pelts rlly is TOO hard ... Idc if it was 1k battle tokens, the NOW counts .. and now the reward is SMALL.

As for your omega dark yeti, I don't know what is going to happen with that one, but for now you can't get another one until they make the missions redo able (if they even do that) as for the suggestion to make it easier I doubt they will do so.

Remember as I told you they made the missions hard to make impatient players use varium as a short cut to get the ultimate reward which was the upgraded yeti.

For the bacon mission use rabblefroth NPC instead of titan's (unless you are going for the cheevo he drops) as it is easier to beat him and he still has a decent drop rate. The same could be said with the pelt mission. fight against the level 30 yeti hulk instead of the frost demon. While their rates are slightly lower it is easier to beat them and even without a drop you get credits which can help ease this pain.

I went through it myself and it did help.

Well I guess in total i fought the level 30 yeti +- 100 times and the level 35 frost demon 30 times but tough, the drop chance just so low, like 1 pelts each 7-8 wins ..
I might take the shortcut way tough but thats 1k varium .. The day ed is full balanced, i guess my children already dead ..

It was never meant to be easy and the reward was like mother said because the token changes. It isnt suppose to be easy to get the strongest robot in damage base. If i recall i had it worse than you because i took a few weeks for the yeti pelts. Did i give up? Nah. Next, why would you sell your yeti?

I believe he did. Ever since Battle Tokens were converted into Credits and since Omega came out. Credits aren't that hard to earn anymore,. Not like the P2W stages of EpicDuel.

It is indeed worth only 2K credits. When they changed the missions from tokens to credits they doubled the number of every old token mission and replaced it with credits.

If you had finished the mission before the token exchange (thank goodness I did this) you would have gained 1K tokens which would have been converted to 10K credits. (warrant you didn't spend any of the tokens you got)

Frost demon drops them more and frost demon IS easy to beat with the right build. (Only took a day to get 20 pelts for me to get yeti warrior)
As Mother1 already said. It ISN'T meant to be easy. The yeti can be bought for 45k or with a code from the T-shirt or the Varium package. ED wanted to make it hard for players to get the yeti since (IMO) it is one of the most useful and powerful robots (not really a robot but considered one) in ED right now since not only does it do great damage but it forces your opponent(s) gear to go on cool down and it also counters Azreal. The yeti gets power as you upgrade it.

I like how the mission is hard because its suppose to be and the reward was worth it (Bad for me since I was unable to do the mission for 1k tokens but oh well). If missions were to be easy then the yeti it self wouldn't cost 45k credits which is why you have the choice of Varium shortcut.

the omega yetis will rpob go rare after omega so im jsut gona farm the pelts

 @CN2025: Maybe. The yetis are there to stay but I don't know about the growth serums.

Yea, this mission was frustrating, but don't give up! If you've ever played some Korean MMOs, the EXP scaling is traditionally ridiculous (not even halfway to the level cap you'd need over 40 hours of play time to level up, and it just gets exponentially longer). Personally, I just went with a 3-hit KO Merc build on the level 30 Yeti Hulks. After about 4 or so hours I finished the quest.

The main-prize is that your one step closer to upgrading your yeti, the 2k credits is a side-prize.
