I would like to just throw in some suggestions as always.

1)

Goal: Luck Reducer

Idea: Basic attacks cannot be consecutively blocked/deflected.

Why?: A reduction to luck.

Detail addition: If you get blocked with a basic attack you could still be blocked again if you use a skill or rage.

Questions: N/a ATM

2)

Goal: Diversity Improvement

Idea: Core addition -> Sidearm Active Core -> Name: Unholy Conduct -> Effect: Deals 85% damage, Prevents heal for 2 turns.

Why?: A formidable alternation to using Azrael's Sidearm and a counter to heal loops.

Questions: N/a ATM

3)

Goal: Sword/Class weapon made more different.

Idea: Skills that you can use with a sword and a class weapon have different effects depending on which one you have equipped.

Why?: Make the use of ether weapon a more unique experience.

Example: The skill Double Strike can be used with a sword or a club, so when you use it with a club it would have normal
effects, but when you use it with a sword it could do less damage but improved chance to not be blocked.

Questions: N/a ATM

4)

Goal: Core diversity improvement

Idea: New core which you would have to equip simultaneously to obtain a single effect.

Why?: To allow new single strong effects in exchange for multiple core slots.

Example: Core Set Name: Azrael's Spite -> 3 core each that take the passive slots of your weapons -> Effect when all 3 are
equipped -> +1 damage to Sword/Class weapon +1% unblockable.

Questions:N/a ATM

1. Tbh I'd rather want to see blocks and deflections entirely removed from the game, as it isn't fair when the outcome of most duels completely changes due to blocks and deflections. As it stands right now though, nobody would even bother with Shadow Arts if this change was implemented...

2. Idk, it's kind of hard to predict whether or not a player will heal unless you checked their skilltree beforehand. Personally I've always found the Energy Shot hard to use, because I'm awful at predicting the enemy's next move, dunno if I want another core relying on predictions. Also, by "heal" are you referring to Field medic only, or do Generator and Bloodlust count as well?

3. Swords already have more stats and damage output than regular primary weapons, in order to make up for the lack of skills you can use. Why give swords another advantage by giving them exclusive skills? Idk about the different effect idea either, makes things more complicated than necessary imo?

4. I really like this idea, but say I equip my weapon with three passive cores, does it matter which ones I have? And do they lose their original passive effects once combined?

Ok

1 Not supported as strength support builds especially strength support tech mage will eat this up. All they would need to do is malf you (only chance for a block) then use their side arm, aux, and strike boom you are dead since you get no luck factors to help with this abusive build.

2 Not supported as this core would make poison builds even worse. We already have people complaining about how poison builds are OP and you want to add a core that can prevent healing? Poison tanks will eat this one up big time.

3 A luck based core? I am iffy about this one at best.

4 Not sure how to comment on this one.

That would make strength support TM even harder to beat since their flaws are having high chance to get block and deflected which can cost them the match. Without these they would be unstoppable especially with Azreal's gear. Not only that but this would make all luck cores (Pro and anti) useless as well as shadow arts, and some of these cores people paid for with real money which wouldn't be fair to them either.

1. Block =/= deflections you just made a situation where someone gets blocked and somehow now they can't be deflected? No read my idea correctly now.

2. Mmmm the core effect could replace poison if existing simultaneously.

3. Again you didn't even read this, it wasn't even a core idea.

1. Yeah I'm sure they still would X_X seeing as this only affects consecutive blocks OR deflections while ignoring the effect if you rage or use a skill.

2 Practice makes perfect :3

3. Advantage? My example for the sword effect did less damage.

4 The core's alone have no effect until equipped all at once.

Yeah what he said ^ Blocks and Deflects are the only thing stopping most people from just pumping all their points into glass cannon builds.

Glass cannon builds are about the only builds I see being used right now anyway, and you block and deflect them with enough difficulty already.

1. I absolutely don't support, it'll just give people a more predictable option and break those tanky builds that like their high block chances. Worst case is that people just go raw abuse on strength and once they're blocked once, they know the chances of their next attack being blocked is very low so they'll go for it. What it does is blatantly reduces risk on those builds that are quite often punished by risk.

It doesn't even help tank builds either because a single block in certain cases is already enough to mess them up, and it's not like they're gonna strike / use deflectables 2-3 times in a row that often. All it does is support more glass cannon builds.

The outlined idea of 2 is nice, though, there should definitely be more options that aren't promo-based for sidearm active cores, especially ones that are on par/have unique uses like azrael's will.

Idea 3 is a unique and creative idea, so I'd support it, however it could possibly limit some builds in a sense.

Or maybe they could put 2 HP per stat point which would mean luck has less effect also they could put agility back for HP abusers

An extremely way to fix the HP abuse problem is to bring an active core(s) with lifesteal effects.

This could simply be like, an attack based off of dexterity or technology, or off of how little HP you have(this is the important part because strength abusers will just then use this skill core too) which lifesteals 30% of damage dealt.

Strike is essentially the most basic attack, so that's why the devs used strike for most of their cores. This is because it's easier to balance than making a skill which increases with support and isn't at all relevant to aux damage, or with other stats in similar manners.
