Well, at least it's something to be learned from,

In the first contest, I wrote a brief thing, and got through, losing to one that was slightly longer, and had more interaction.

So i wrote in more interaction, while avoiding text blobs like some of the other entrys via putting in the acts.

Then in the 2nd contest, he makes the wise choice (strangely not sarcastic, I approve the decision) to add characters based on art -concept- rather than art, (though still iffy about if it still counts as a contest, if the best 'drawn' ones don't get through)

So from this, in the 3rd contest, I'll simply try again, enter both story versions, while trying to Learn To Draw (decently, as apposed to amazingly, as I don't have the control or time to learn amazingly) as that was what put me off the art section in the first place, I was too low tier to bother trying :p

Your welcome. You story is interesting and appealing to me and we have been long time forumites in OS although I was away for a few months.

@blackshock
Your golem is amazing! I voted yours as well.

@megakyle and resk
I apologise I can't vote yours since jop and blackshock's work is really amazing but it doesn't mean its bad. Don't give up on your gentleman, kyle and resk, keep it up with your work and you will be selected in the future.

Well I wish good luck to the finalists so it'll be interesting to see how this ends up.

It makes me wonder once this contest ends what comes next because OS I know will not be getting a release in a long while until Battle Gems is finished (which they said soon), but I hope they don't skip OS's birthday since that is basically what everyone is waiting for.

I heard your entry didn't make it but don't worry, your entry will make it in sooner or later so long as you have the willpower to win your entry. Beside, your necrosis is the first character after my long absence to obtain without SG. Your necrosis is something. xD For OS' birthday, it is an important day so I doubt nulgath would skip that.

i voted for @blackshock

we need something unique like a golem like a legit golem in game (i dont count earth golem since he dosnt really look like a golem)

also i voted for @megakyle

i need a gentleman so i can act like a total sir around solace

currently Blackshock is winning for the art contest(yay)
and megakyles is in second for the writing.

MDK: ...Because a Gentleman made of Shadows, A Gentleman possesed by a elderich horror, a analog of Lady C who killed all the dragon eggs under his protected in a horrific power ritual, and a man who was coruppted and turned evil by the Archfeind are not creepy enough for you? I'm not sure how much more creepy I can get without breaking the forum rules.

That's what twitlonger is used for. Anything pg-13 suggestive not content though [*edited] outside of the forums can still be posted, but using something like twitlonger is acceptable since it's an outside link. (One of the AKs mentioned it.)

I kept mine a bit inside a family oriented although it has a bit of visualization involved, but overall it was fine. (I won't hold back next time because "Madness" has more of a gruesome backstory)

I'm just saying, with some of my Gentleman entries I've gotten as gruesome as the forums allow, and while they are PG13 that's still not exactly candy and rainbow ponies. I've written some creepy gentleman already is all I'm saying.

Also, running out of Gentleman ideas.

 I don't think you've made a gentlemoose yet. And yes, you can use outside links to suggest non PG 13 content, but you can't link any non PG 13 content to the forums

ND Mallet: While I don't want to say the Gentlemen are ultra serious or anything (Because, you know, a Gentleman in such a world is a little silly) I don't think a Gentlemoose would suit the mood. Plus you know, moose is your thing and I don't wanna step on your toes.
