A nerf for TLM. A passive armor and a high reroute is to powerfull in combination.
This is leading to heal loop builds and powerfull strenght tanks with berzerker and double strike.
Mana drain just does not work on strenght tanks with reroute because you will be dead in 3-4 turns
if you do so. Without mana drain too. Thats my experience as a TM but also other classes do have
this problem more or less.

The problem of Azraelīs Will is not the initial damage if 85%, its the forced strike which is like missing
one turn in most situations. Its especially unfair when the forced player has rage active and then maybe
also get blocked (by Shadow Arts). Alot duels get decided by just 1 turn.

The staff made the core to be used for that purpose. To steal a person's turn, force them to waste their rage on strikes and to draw out blocks. It was said in the design notes that it was made for that purpose.

It just feels too much like a stun attack. Kind of a slap to stun attacks and the stun gun/stun cores.

I think Tact Merc is fine. What I don't understand is why do they have to have a energy smash I mean cmon, that's beyond unfair when they have reroute. At least Tech isn't as tanky as Tact merc.

Tech mage High str / sup is annoying but not that OP, this is the one true time where Rusty shine.

As for blood mage, I personally would get rid of Deadly aim and replace it with a energy drains kill, really silly for them to have a free 0 energy bludgeon.

^It's ONLY energy smash. It does not give energy back to you.

I call it unfair because Tact Mercs can do almost everything except for debuff but they're so tanky you can't say it matters a great deal, they just drain energy, Spam heals and often times ( not every tact merc ) poison you to death. Totally unfair and needs change asap.

Would you prefer them to still have smoke like when they first came out? Not sure if you were around but back when TLM had smoke they were worse then they were now. They were not only tanky has heck but could do a very powerful strength build as well.

Plus the reason they are like this is so they can compensate for not having a debuff when they were change.

Just like Blood mage is suppose to be a damage out put class to compensate for the fact they can't energy drain (won't say gain since they have reflex boost which can give back energy)

Every class has it's strong points and weak points. If every class had everything the others had then you might as well remove classes since they would all be the same.

The 2 classes with bloodlust are far stronger than Tlm, so I dont think it needs a nerf.The energy smashers of the two mercenaries are blockable and that keeps them in balance.I think that once they work out balance first things to be changed are those passive skills that stuck with bloodlust, Deadly Aim expecially, but also Shadow Arts.
To beat a tlm all you need to do is take their energy, even if they use azrael gun, and you re a tank blood mage going 2nd you can take their energy by using frost shards and energy shot, high emp if you re an hunter, mercs would just beat them very easy stealing all their energy, and caster tm can counter with technician and assimilations.

I wouldn't exactly call it fun but after watching some old epic duel youtube videos I can see the fun I could have. The community just sucks :/

Also the amount of forum activity here is quite depressing...
