Naw, it'd just mean I'd be spending less SGs. I'll get as many characters as I can on Friday.

Very nice, but it will take a lot of work to keep up. You could also use this. I think the skexis evolution will just be a larger, more armored version of it. I think the monarch would be a master or legendary rank.

i would love skexis to be bigger, have creepy insect wings , top and bottom jaw mandibles, antennae on the head to the back , spikes down the spine and armoured arms and legs

Whatever Skexis's evolution design will be, i am sure it will be very awesome! Its a pity we won't be able to keep Skexis Fiend form after evolving him. Well, at least there will also be a variation of Skexis Fiend alongside variation of VK when the original SF and VK gain their evolution.

For me, getting every single character in OS is my style instead of doing the appearance lock. At least only few permanent rare characters like FC, SK and VK will be impossible to re-obtain their pre-evolution form. But the rest are able to obtain every of their form.

Even if you appeance lock it doesn't change the deck back which would be kind of helpful training dire maggot who loses all its 500 attacks at master form to gain dots

 I assume Character-lock isn't visible to the public? For example, I take my Evolved ver. of Skexis and lock it on Apprentice form. The public will still see the Evolved ver., am I right?

If that's the case, then by all means as a Rares Collector, not evolving Skexis. I'll stick to the Apprentice version. Less people will have it. :P

Yes, character lock only makes it look like that character to you for the time being. This was stated in Design Notes some months ago, and hasn't changed since.

Happy birthday Oversoul! It would be a great surprise to see an unexpected release before this week Halloween release but that would be very unlikely to happen since Nulgath must be spending his time animating all 8 Halloween characters even now. Don't think he have time for the OS birthday release day but Skexis and VK evolution are OS birthday release.
