How to bring justice to 2V2: As you may know, a possible scenario for 2V2 can go like this... 30---|----35 -----VS----- 36---|----36 And the level 30 might only have a primary weapon... low stats! But it does not even matter to the matchmaking engine. This suggestion makes the stats matter. The process: The first player who is pending for a 2V2 match becomes the host. So, if I clicked for 2V2, and it says "1 player found", which is me, that means I become the host of the match. That means, only players who are +/- 5 levels from me will be able to enter the match with me... similar to what it currently is. So, let us imagine that I am the host (35), and the following players connect: 30, 36, and 35. Now, it will arrange the players into teams according to their stats, including stats from equipment. So, imagine that these are the stats: I have 95 stat points, LV30 has 75 stats, LV36 has 105 stats, and LV35 has 90 stats. The matchmaker will now sort the players by stat points into teams. It will sort them so that the team order will be the order with the most fair number of stat points on each side. So, the matchmaker will make a calculation to simulate every team combination and choose the best. The teams will be... 30---|----35 -----VS----- 36---|----35 The left side has a stat total of 180, and the right side has a stat total of 185. This is the most fair combination. This does not perfectly fix 2V2 matchmaking, but you can certainly attest that the team combos will be more fair than what it is now. Weapon and armour points will be converted into stat points. I do not know the most accurate means of conversion, but for a rough example, we can say that 1 point of damage or armour is equal to 4 stat points. So, 36 points of damage on a weapon is equal to 144 stat points.
