@Andlu: If you think his sword is massive, then I wonder what you think of characters like Dreadfiend and Orc Chieftan. Lol! His sword is slim, not massive. I think it looks like it's meant for quick jabs and hack n' slash. Furthermore, that's not just any shield! :D That shield looks like it can be both Offensive and Defensive- with the face and all of course. So that's why I'm rooting for Shadow/Water, Shadow as primary element and Water as a secondary element. And like I said in my previous post, it would be a good counterpart for last year's Founder Champ. Not only was he Light, which is the opposite of Shadow, but he also had both offensive attacks, and a heal. A very annoying heal if you'd ask me. So with 1st Upholder Void, it can be offensive with attacks/Dot's, and Defensive with Shields/Heals. Yeah? And not to mention the fact that Shadow/Water isn't a very common Elemental-Build in the game- at least not yet. The best ones I can think of are maybe Revonthurkey, and that one Lobster-like Character with the Lady on top. Or at least I think it's Shadow/Water. . . I think Water/Shadow would be a very good Elemental-build also. You can be offensive at times, and then switch to defensive, with heals. It would be one very annoying character to kill- and certainly making its worth as the 1st Upholder character. :) And I personally think that a difference from the Founder Champ would be that with Water, he would possess a Fresh-start card. A different way of gaining energy instead of just the regular Charge-up button, or when putting cards into play. Meanwhile if you put Fire/Shadow together, it's still the same ol' Charge-up scenario. Very offensive, no Defense, and really it gets boring after a while with no defensive cards. Furthermore, if it were to be a Shadow/Fire, like I said, no shields. So would it only have things like Empower? I sense that also things like Blood Rage and Sacrifice would be in addition also, which is a horrible idea. No defense? No heals? And yet you take away your own Health? Blimey! That's suicide! I know you can just delete the cards from your hand and cast them back in your deck, but I hate the idea of it just taking up a card slot, whereas that slot could've been a place-holder of another card that could've, who knows, helped me win the battle? Another thing is that I am simply not that big of a fan for Characters that focus absolutely on Nukes, Pure Defense, or Pure Offense. I like a mix, I like my options diverse. It makes me feel safer in a battle, you know?
